Razer was at the forefront of the new wave of gaming phones, unveiling its first Razer Phone about 11 months ago. Now it’s time to bring out the new one – you can watch it happen live thanks to the livestream below.

This is the YouTube stream, but this landing page also has a Twitch stream. Because of course it does, Razer knows its audience. The event starts at 1:30AM GMT, which is early in the morning in Hong Kong (9:30AM) and evening in San Francisco (6:30PM).

We’ll publish a hands-on review of the Razer Phone 2 as soon as possible. However, an Amazon listing already gave away some of the upgrades – RGB backlit logo, wireless charging and IP67 water resistance. And a Snapdragon 845 chipset with better cooling, naturally.

Such amazing hardware, let down by Android (no choice), and software that is not optimised. Still love it though. Would be amazing for watching movies.

Interesting in the 120Mhz refresh rate when it comes to gaming. But it will need to top iPhone Xs fast touch response rate, before it can claim gaming phone price. Display / Controls / Battery life.. main concerns of gaming. But i guess its...
