I don't like this corner placed sensors.
Still waiting for 4x front-facing cameras. CrApple will probably start this trend with upcomming iPhone. All 4 front cameras will be placed on a very big notch. I am waiting for this future trend, and stupidity.

This is a mid-ranger with average quality cameras. It doesn't matter if there are 4 or 8 of them, when it cannot compete with flagships with high-end camera setups.
I'll give them props when they release that triple camera S10+ as per the rumors... And it better be competitive.

Super funny how a company such as Hauwei which has been caught 'cheating test scores' and by using 'DSLR Camera photo's' in there ad's but you guys are ok with that?
Comparing the A9 to a Pixel 3 for image quality is just as retarded as comparing an apple to an orance saying the orange tastes more like an orange. Mid range vs Flagship, it's not that hard to comprehend.
I'm a super fan of Samsung as my family has had many many products made by Samsung (phones, tv's, dvd/bluray, tablets, home appliances) and all have been great and lasted for years. (Galaxy SII has survived 3 kids, S5 survived 2 kids and Note 4 surviving the beating my 4 year old puts it through).
I think good job Samsung for testing the waters with a quad camera set-up in a mid-range device.
Some of you people can't be happy with anything Samsung does, or Apple, Sony.... If it's not the brand you like it's complete junk and useless, until your preferred brand adopts the exact same features. Camera set-up would look better in a line across the width of the phone instead of the length, but definitely not a 4-square set-up, that looks ridiculous.

Sony has to be milking this camera sensor craze, went from making money on one sensor per phone(way back when) to two, three, four, five, and today even six sensors per phone, counting front and back sensors.

Its official,camera’s number race is on!
Fun facts aside,it wouldve been much more appreciated if Samsung sorted out first their imaging algorhitms.Oversharpening and watercolors are not in anymore,nor they ever were.And five tiny sensors still couldnt match one big one,different view angles cant help there if you only want to snap THAT photo in the moment.

I still want to know why Samsung added a depth sensor when there's already 2 other lenses that can enable that. I bet it was done just to brag that the phone has 4 cameras.

why need so many lens for a smartphone?given more battery are better than add lens waste the phone place and Samsung are put 4 lens in mid-range to test the market does people accept the device.
