Anything like Clean Master, battery booster, speed booster, phone cooler... ALL THOSE APPS are to be avoided like the plague. They are useless (literally. Android already cleans RAM when needed, and Samsung includes Device Manager for you to do it manually and clean cache and really optimize battery) and also drain your data. Also avoid anything like Facebook, Messenger... they drain your battery like nothing else.

If you want your battery to last long use only 1 sim or shut off any 1 sim you are not using and see the difference. I tried it. If you use only 1 sim the battery will last much longer.

it might be late sure I'm not defending that
but they do fulfill their promise of 2 software updates atleast
I wish it was faster dho by a month or so
but if that's the thing ive to sacrifice for waaaaay more stable builds with less bugs I'm down
but this time there were bugs in the oreo build after all the beta testing which makes it unacceptable for me tbh

I am using the A9 Pro (2016), even with 5000mah, the stock firmware and battery won't last longer than 24hrs. From past experience Samsung updates only make things worse, so don't be too happy about it. I flashed another clean rom made by some vietnamese, idle can last over 14 days.

Yeah, we already received the Oreo update in the Philippines like 5 days ago. And it's only about 1.3 Gb. Same baseband version but it doesn't have night light nor blue-light filter.

Awesome. So, this mid-range does get it's promise of 2 major upgrades fulfilled.
The A9 Pro (2016) was a great phone. A whopping 5000 mAh battery in a phone that is only 7.9 mm thin. Don't forget it also has a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a dedicated microSD card slot too.
Shows how today's manufacturers who remove the 3.5 mm headphone jack are nothing but deceivers cheating the customers.
