Its companion that launched the same time last year, the Mi Note 3, was even a total let down by cutting most iconic things of previous Mi Note, by giving upper mid-range chipset (660) instead of flagship one (it should been 835 like Mix 2), removing headphone jack, removing Mi Note iconic Curved OLED display and the AMOLED display itself with LCD (tho LCD is reliable) , and removing some portions of mAh of previous Mi Note (around 1000 if not mistaken), and basically, a plus-version and redesigned of Xiaomi flagship, the Mi 6. Causing a disappointment of Mi Fans regarding Xiaomi reducing the Mi Note lineup. I was the one too, why on earth they did it...
Hope Mi Note 4 and Mi Mix 3 see a total improvement over Mi Note 3 and Mi Mix 2.

To say the Mi Mix 2 was a ... moreI have a Mix 2 and my friend has the 1.My camera is far better,my screen has better colors,my screen on time is between 6-8 hours so on par with other flagships,it is more comfortable in the hand and screen to body ratio you can't see really a difference,you should think even the mix 2 has a better ratio beause of smaller chin. The speaker quality on the Mix 2 is also better,especially when calling.Only complaint was the selfie cam,but now a use a gcam app and it is far better now.

sj643, 16 Oct 2018this time add ip68, it ll be better. i m unable to use my m... moreFlagships that have Ip 67/68 onboard,also have sensors onboard to detect huge heat(laying in the sun,...) and shock sensor,to detect if you damaged it.Also a humidity sensor inside,if there is water inside.So you can't always claim your warranty,if you ever did something wrong!!! Mostly Mi devices are rain proof,but don't use it under the shower or in a pool!!!

The first Mi Mix was awesome.
To say the Mi Mix 2 was a huge letdown, would be an understatement. The Screen to Body Ratio went down, the 3.5 mm jack got killed and the battery capacity was cut by a whopping 1000 mAh.
I hope Xiaomi will have the good sense to avoid repeating the wrong decisions this time.

Please add wireless charging and don't release Mi mix 3s after 3 months, coz it sucks!
I'm using mix2 and I'm not satisfied with both cameras.

Aspros, 16 Oct 2018If they play their cards right, this could be my next phone... moreI have a Mi mix 2,and there is one thing that annoys me. Notification light is one color only, can't change it. After a little research i found out that Xiaomi did that to save money. Its annoying,and not a flagship worthy.

If they play their cards right, this could be my next phone.
OLED screen, 8gb of ram, width under 5,6cm, 4000mah battery and some sort of protection from air humidity are the criteria. Let's see what they got!

Whackcar, 16 Oct 2018Mi Mix 2s was a failure, hopefully the Mix 3 will be better... morewhere? yes the design is not fully a screen it have a chin and the bezel little bit bold. I don't know where is failure what you say. but mi mix is a good phone without notch from xiaomi.

Honestly though, there are plenty of "bezelless" phones these days, so Xiaomi can't sell this with just this "feature". They'll need to offer far more to attract customers.
