In 2010, they made a transparent feature phone.
In 2012, they were the first to make the gestures and the glove mode on Xperia Sola
In 2013, They made big camera when the smartphone considered using few MPs and made professional cam accessories for it, Also they did the first wireless concept in Xperia Z which was the megnatic dock charging who isn't different from the current wireless charging method except being induced on the back. Also, they did, the biggest Phablet with the 16:9 and was 6.44' Inches, with no flap waterproof and use a pencil Graphite as a stylus. Also, they were the first to use Quantum Dot technology trademarked as Triluminos on LCD displays, in smartphones and TVs. Also they made Xperia ZL, the first bezelless phone and the front camera was on the bottom like Xiaomi does so basically, Xiaomi took that from Sony.
In 2014. they did the smartwatch first and made it to make calls.
In 2015, they did the first 4K phone and the fingerprint on the side on the power button.
(But I think LG was the first on the power button but dropped it quickly because it was on the back of the phone.)
In 2017, the first 4K HDR phone, 960fs on 720p slowmotion and a 120Hz refresh rate display (but was on the developers mode). Also the first to make 3D picturing. In TVs, the first OLED TV with Acoustic Surface Audio and having Triluminos technology (Quantum Dot)
In 2018, the first 960fs on 1080p slow motion, Vibrator like the dualshock PS and OLED display with Triluminos technology (Quantum Dot)
In 2019, I let you take a good guess and more things.
So Sony never stopped innovating. But people don't know about that and Sony don't market, advertise or publicise.

Hello, I know that Mate 20 doesn't have the fancy 3D Face Unlock which is exclusive to the Mate 20 Pro, but does the standard Mate 20 have any form of Face Unlock at all? If it doesn't, I feel that it is a downgrade, as both regular P20 and Mate 10 (through an update) have 2D Face Unlock. Thanks

Okay, with all this hype, not even that great comparing with other flagships, especially the Galaxy Note 9, still a much better phone. Sorry Huawei, not this time...

Did they remove OIS from the main 40 MP camera in the Mate 20 Pro?
That would be a downgrade, because the P20 Pro had OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) in it's main 40 MP camera.

Nice and well done Huawei.
This the first time I feel the smartphone industry is changed and Huawei introdouced to many firsts at their press.
Besides, it's first time I say they're the great choice over the note and Apple.
Defiantly Apple lost the second spot. Same prices more or less and have many great things.
This is the first time that a company overtakes Sony's innovations. Now, Sony has to make more things. No company took or became near Sony till Huawei did things.
The companies are just in sales and marketing, nothing more.
