Don't see any excitement about these two Huawei flagships, will be long forgotten on e next gen devices will start to hit market in few months with better chipsets and 5g, unless price will go down significantly, for now, just dissapointment

I was hoping for 4k 60fps video at 20..maybe 30 recording time...but no.
Still it is only iPhones that can do this.
But I find the iPhones to be too expensive :(

Ugly and stupid notch, very expensive(not worth this money), no sd card, no 3.5 mm jack. Huawei your completely failed! Thanks Sammy for keeping out of notch, have 3.5 mm jack and sd card slot. Never own huawei, but never will buy. Pathetic...

It's nice to launch a new phone when specified . My Mate 10 Pro is stack on Android Security Patch of 01 June 2018 and all efforts to get updates targeted to my Mate 10 Pro has failed.
Huawei can make the best smartphones year on year but their support leaves a lot to be desired.
I stick to the Pixels going forward.

About the whole Pro vs Non-Pro debate:
The Non-Pro literally has 2 aces up it's sleave.
1) 3.5mm Jack 2) Lower Price
When you consider what the Pro has to offer, you'll realize that it's a far better phone & offers far better value for money. Unless you must have that jack at any cost...
As for the waterdrop notch, it's still a notch. There's no such thing as a good notch. There is either a notch, or no notch. Since the No notch option isn't available with the Mates, you might as well go for the bigger notch.

Great innovation from Huawei. Shots Fired.
All other manufacturers will now need to step up their game.
Superb triple camera combination. Glad they finally accepted that the monochrome camera wasn't useful enough and ditched it for a more useful extra wide angle camera.
Supercharge at 40W is amazing, second to only Oppo's 50W SuperVOOC. 4200 mAh is highly appreciated. Unfortunately, the ugly notch remains.
Bottom speaker firing through the USB-C hole is a questionable choice. Does this mean sound will be muffled, when a USB cable is connected?
Kirin 980 sounds great on paper. Will have to see how it performs later.
The lack of a 3.5 mm headphone jack in the Mate 20 Pro is a huge drawback though. It's presence in the vanilla Mate 20, might make people lean towards it.
The Mate 20, even with all it's discounted features is still a great phone.
The NM card is just more planned obsolescence from Huawei. They could have made it in similar dimensions to the microSD card, but no, they had to force their decisions on the customer. Disgusting tactic.
