There was a time when heat pipes and cooling measures were all about gaming PC. Now, we are talking about heat cooling measures on mobile phones. Technologies have matured fast indeed..... But well, I still prefer to have a gaming PC or console rather than on a phone. And yes, I prefer Nintendo Switch over Mate 20X.

Very sad that mate 20 X doesn't have built in display fingerprint sensor :( including this it could be absolutely perfect phone! Hope one plus 6T or Xiaomi mi mix 3 will have stereo speakers same like mate 20 series X and pro
.. Always is something wrong.. For example pro version has absolutely disgusting wide notch bleee i hate it.. On other side X model is missing in display fingerprint scanner, so it means there is no perfect mate 20 phone neither from all these models.. Waiting for one plus 6T and mi mix 3..

Last time the P20 pro had a Samsung one and the normal an LG and according to anandtech it was not much better than pentile.
"The particularity on the smaller P20 is the RGBW subpixel layout. In theory this allows better light transmissivity as the white subpixels lets through more of the backlight light. The problem here is that it’s not a 4 subpixel per logical pixel layout but rather a custom layout with mixed subpixel configurations. Together with the lower 1080p resolution this results in a noticeably lower effective resolution and sharpness than you would expect from a traditional 1080p screen, and the end result is a lot closer to the sharpness of an OLED’s diamond pentile layout."

this got me salivating. if only huawei have done away with the notch and slapped a quad-hd screen. still, i think i would try this when it becomes available here in the philippines.

Huawei don't brag batt capacity or screen size.. if ur in tablet size.
when a thing is large, it naturally can fit more.

Very nice. I still wait a new Note 8.0 with S-Pen, but this can be near, especially with the Wacom AES.

I dislike huawei to the core for their principles (or lack thereof) and their desperation to paint their products ad something more than they aren't. But credit where due, this mate 20 x is appealing for the main reason that it sports that beautiful 7.2" display. I applaud them for it. Still falls short without QHD but good effort.

... moreNo it's Pentile. Huawei didn't take from Samsung. They took it from BOE.
The OLED is RGBW like LG's OLED panels.

Sony was the first bezelless phone with the ZL and the camera was on the bottom and Xiaomi took it. Shard did it in a different way and was the first to be in different way.
The ear speaker I don't know about that, but, Sony did the Acoustic Surface Audio in there TVs and since the mimicked the baravia OLED with the XZ3, they might show that in next year. Samsung did also this year the sound coming from the display but shown in prototype on SID display and IFA. The phone was S9.
On the camera yeah your right. It was like that Sharp, then Essential, then the notch with the iPhone.
They did restart the Aqous line up with the new Aqous Zero with their OLED curved display. Check it out.

so akward when you have a pen for your note phone but no slot in it. Huawei is trolling or just don't have an idea how to put up a space for pen on the phone

And given its OLED (pentile most probably) it would look less sharp than the iphone XR that everybody seems to hate.

Just buy Poco, yes it takes of the screen but GPU wise it's stronger performer.
