This shouldn't happen in a Smartphone that costs 800€.
Too much fanfare, but no real quality value to match the price.

people always complain about poor battery life, its a smartphone,its not gonna last 3days like old phones. It depends how u use the handset as well if it lasts a day leave it to charge at night. I dont get what the problem is. Then u get idiots that want to swop out perfectly good phones because the battery life is not the same as their old phone.

after updating iso5.0.1 i am not able to send msgs and my phone network is not working good after two or three call it satrts searching network again. i am facing the same problem again and again. and i have restored my iphone 4s many time. i need the solution of this problem immediatialy.

weird how apple being all pro. keeps having this major setbacks on new releases of their ios. i dont use android either but they never as i recall experienced this kind of issues. and the antenna gate on iphone 4 was never resolved. and on iphone 4s they just tweaked ios so it can swtich from one antenna to the other.
never owned an apple product.
never will.

If Apple still has a problem with this update then it would be better if they do not prompt iPhone users to update this version and wait till the resolved version is ready.

SGS2 had a great battery life and i expected more from my iphone 4s... disppointing... im going back to SGS2.. i dont like the looks of iphone 4s anymore...

my ipad 2 returned to normal battery status and duration, for this part i can vote. thought my iphone 4 continues to show poor run time... that sucks

First off Samsung sold more galaxy 2 in this qurter then iphone and now i know why its becouse iphone always had prubelms from iphone all the way to iphone 4s and always need updates every week thats why samsung will always be batter with android never have i heard there battery lasts 3 hours with no talk time or them tracking you where you go and what you do like really do i really want apple knowing what i do where you go 24/7 they even know what your doing now i think alot are fed up with them thats why samsung is ahead on sales and will be for a very long time so as much as people talking shit about android is i rather use them then having apple knowing were i am and what am doing or have a phone with 3 hours with no talk time or no signle becouse you have your single on a little hole or have less security on the phone then they have in a chines fle market that has to be pached every week with updates like really they been making phones for what 5 years now they sould have learnd from all the mastakes they made from the first iphone all the way to the 4s apple has to wake up

"This is ugly, that is ugly, etc." Some people may prefer the looks of another phone. You mentioned build quality. But, I hope no one bumps into you on the street and you drop your iphone. If so, its finished. A phone that completey shatters when it gets knocked off the table at Mcdonalds can't have great build quality. Ios doesn't lag because all it does is scroll left and right. If you dont think android is smooth, then dont use the user interface and use the app menu only. All ios is is an app menu anyway. You have a choice with android. Your re-sale value comment was the only true "fact" that you mentioned. Iphones are undoubtedly the king of the popularity contest and retains its value very well. But, resale value is a factor when buying a car....not so much with a phone or computer device. You didnt mention how fast iphone is at 4g data. Why?

sorry is the lets slag apple again forum. right i sell mobiles for living. and the only reason the battery will diminish is due to customers not charging the device. for a good 12-16 hours prior to switching on. like always they charge for it. then want to play. and then complain when they get 2 hours talk time. personally i have a iphone 4. and had no problems with the battery life. i have had my iphone 4 last at least 4 days. if i use it playing games and music about 2 days. so there you have it. the truth based on fact. not the usual internet rumours like most of these posts.

I own one and since I updated it, it has got even worse the battery only last me half day without even a call, if Apple don't improve this then I am looking for new manufacturer.
I have always been a Moto user and I had a new upgrade and thought let's get a Iphone 4 as everyone raves about how good Iphones are and so far its a complete fail.
