Denzo, 13 Nov 2011Thats it? Take your own advice. I have honestly owned both ... moreI had the galaxy s and it had problems sometimes connecting to my home network. Very troublesome phone. So I can understand how the sgs2 would experience the same issues.

utouh, 13 Nov 2011get real..No, utouch. Denzo is actually dead on with his assessment of android phones. For the bulk of androids poor or limited battery performance is considered standard or acceptable. But Apple considers poor battery performance to be a problem.

Well all who own iphones and says they have Gorilla glass...stand up now, hold your phone up to your waist facing down, towards a concrete ground and drop it if it did not shattered or crack then you can say you have gorilla glass .....Other than that go study your phone materials before going into any argument.

sure you will not do it and you will keep saying it is gorilla glass looooooooooool .

utouh, 13 Nov 2011get real..Thats it? Take your own advice. I have honestly owned both and even used the SBP Shell on SGS2 app (Different looking UI~) and yes its a good phone at some things.. but really, for non geeks who dont get a hard on over gigabytes, the iPhone has a better camera, is easier to use, and simple clean and classy use and design. Cant compare it to the android.

Otheriwse refer to my comments below. But I am keeping it very real, I had the SGS2, and simply it was a nice phone.. and i used it as a hot spot, email etc.. but for instance some of my complaints in addition to my partners I worte below.. the RES on the the SGS2 makes the app icons look so ugly.. like they are stretched or something? The menu system is ugly. The way the screen unlocks on the SGS2 is ugly, its not consistently smooth and jitters and slips etc sometimes. The iPhone never does that so smooth like silk baby. The SGS2 is thin.. thats great.. but the SGS2 feels like a little tablet. The iPhone feels sturdy - undeniably - compaared to any droid. Only the HTCs have a nice build. ALL the APPS I use, such as facebook, ebay etc ARE SO MUCH NICER on the Apple. I dont know why, but they are, more features, more graphics, better looking and better running. Another thing, the SGS2 sometimes will not connect to the net, unless you turn off 3G and turn it back on. Maybe thats just my phone, but it did it. Honeslt I really liked the AMOLED screen of the SGS2 but tbh the res kills the quality. It is a beautiful vibrant screen, but compared to the iPhone resolution, the SGS2 looks like a SNES and the iPhone looks like a PS3. People talk about the iPhone being locked.. I dont really care, its just the flash I like. At the end of the day, I would lock it too, cause everything just works and looks so pretty.

I will also say, when you look at the photos on the SGS2 it mkaes these annoying extra photo folders, and they swivel, and they make names you did not create and it just gets messy.

On the iPhone you just scroll and view.. Too good on SO many aspects that are important, and that the reality. I tried it (and the HTC Desire) and the Nokia E6, and have good opinions on all of those phones, but no questions, the iOS set up is the cleanest, slickest and classiest bit of kit out right now, and regardless of sales of the much cheaper androids, the Apple right now is King.

Also You know my 6 Month old SGS2 is worth less than Half now on ebay.. And guess what.. the 1.5 old iPhone 4, is still worth $500AUD to buy. MORE than the SGS2 which is less than half its age.. It looks like the number of cores dont matter to too many people, huh?

Id say Im keeping it very real.

If you really had an SGS2, you would know that there is a battery saving feature, and i'm telling you as an SGS2 owner, that this feature works. I have news updates, weather updates, and emails. After 8 hours at work, my battery will be at around 80-75%. I honestly hope Apple sort out the battery issue for it's customers, But you mate? Behave LOL

Anonymous, 13 Nov 2011Wow, you're taking fanboyism to new lows. There is no p... moreHahahaha! If apple really use Corning Gorilla Glass, explain the videos showing the glass break after they drop it, and hundreds of iPhones with cracked glass, not just the 4/4s, but 3G(S) as well, and none of the products mentioned in the list from Corning actually experience the same thing.. the QUALITY AND DURABILITY are just simply DIFFERENT!
Corning won't make such a glass and tarnish their reputation.. beside, i have not heard/seen a single gorilla glass display breaks yet..

Can't you just accept that? Oh, no, you can't.. because you feel fooled now that your overpriced phone which you claim to be the best phone ever don't even have the now-industry-standard Gorilla Glass Display.. you just can't get over that fact..

As for battery life. You are going to drain your battery by terminating apps and clearing the RAM, because the resources just start up again, burning more battery power. Let Android manage your apps.

This is just strategy so people changed their mind and move to the 4S cause the changed are insignificant and almost like 60-70% will stay with their actual idivice and wait for the other generation. Also is mess up jailbreakers plans!

No matter how Apple or even other cellphone manufacturers do something about fixing battery issues especially more and more of touch screen phones been out today, if you're the type of someone who uses your mobile phone like a personal computer well then i guess you shouldnt have just gotten yourself a smart phone in the first place... These cellphones, we must remember are touchscreen phones. Aside from the fact it's got huge screen which of course require a great amount of power to light up the screen, it also takes a lot of energy from the battery to perform your commands... keep in mind you only touch it lightly to do what you want it to do versus old phones, the energy comes from yourself.... you push buttons to call or compose text messages thus wont require too much power from the battery... Let us be wise people and bottom line, dont depend too much on the devices. coz again, these are just all man made. thank you and world peace =)
