It's not a big release, but it does come with good to have enhancements.

      I rather put phone from pockets than having both phone and watches.
      Its healthy for my wallet.

          I chose smartwatch because when I'm outside or doing some sports I'm often missing calls/texts or mails. Never have that problem with smartwatch.

            So i decided to dont wear watches long time ago.
            Same feeling for rings etc.
            Anyway if they support mostly only english in my country its useless because in outr country more than 50% dont speak any language apart from Slovak.

You have a lot of presets or you can enter your text by voice. Answering on short calls is super convenient instead of getting my Galaxy Note when I'm outside somewhere. Only things what is bothering me is price. Battery of course could be better but I found that it is not so hard to charge once in a two days.
              But it is just another gadget. Of course everyone can live without it easily especially if you never liked to wear watch.

                Watches not needed. They are classified as a piece of jewelry.
                Anyway answering a message with smartwatches is obsollete how you type in them??
                Its just another useless technology which were created.

                  Smartwatches last barely a day and people which have smartwatches usualy have a phones as well.
                  Any mediocre cell phone for 200 can do same tricks than an higly overpriced smartwatches for 500+.
                  Its like when you buy a winter tyres for your car even if you like in Sudan or Dubai.

I think it is great when you can quickly answer call or message not even getting your phone out of pocket. There are many situations when smartwatch can be useful nowadays when phones are getting so big.
                    Not sure why you are still comparing with regular watches because that's not idea of smartwatch. If you need just time then regular watch is all you need but again isn't that also what your phone can do - show time??

                                Still only 24-72 hours or battery life compared to regular watch with several months or years of battery life.
                                For everything else i can use phone.

                                    Realistic1, 17 Oct 2018People want bigger screens, yet they have troubles with the... moreCompact phones have a few disadvantage and why it dies out.

                                    1. The Korean lovers.. They need large screens.. yeah. LARGE screens.. and there are tons of demand for that.
                                    2. Small phone = small battery capacity. (Below size 4 inches.. the capacity reduce drastically, as the SoC competes with space in the phone. And you can see people complains if you have less then 2k mAH ..
                                    3. Qualcomm only a few chipset.. phone makers no choice pick one and choose. The size is as it is, high performance ones are bigger and HOT.. and what to do when its hot?.. Make it bigger! So small phone stuck with weak specs... and its a BIG NONO for spec lovers.
                                    4. People want sexy phones.. and just like normal pretty women stereotypes... it HAS to be slim.. so very slim... and that does not bold well for specs or battery endurance.

                                    So there is no way to make compact phones great again. So here are your choices.
                                    1. Get LTE watch.. and rock a tablet as your main driver.
                                    2. Stick with a oversized phone (5 ~ 7 inches now)

                                    So many companies tried to compact phones.. but once they increase their sizes.. they discover their profit increases also! So GG.. the only one still hopefully compact phones are Sony..

                                      It will be interesting to pit this against the new Huawei Watch.

                                        Isn't the software version kind of reversed? R800 is the 46mm based on Samsung's product name, while the R810 is the 42mm one.
