Huawei officially launches EMUI 9.0 beta for 9 phones

It will definitely get Android 9 pie. Its just a matter of time, of course newer phones will get it 1st, which is understandable.

        yeah sure update the beta tester app to this version which isn't even out yet on the p20 pro in the UK

          When i go to phone setting check for sys software update, 9.0 is already there waiting for me to download. Hope that helps u

            My case:
            i. Joined the project tester. After updated to latest beta app.
            ii. Go to phone setting n check for latest patch, it prompt me to install 8.0 latest security patch. That was b4 i come across this topic where huawei announce 9.0 update patch available.
            iii. 5 mins later i check again on

                        just update my honor play COR-AL00 EMUI 9.0.0.110 based on Android Pie..so smooth and fast..thanks huawei for faster updates!

                          Will mate 9 ever gets Pie and EMUI 9?! I believe that Kirin 960 is soo capable, don't let us down huawei...

                            In Europe we get Beta version 2.2.30 - no sign of the mentioned menus and options to receive pie update.

                              Anonymous, 17 Oct 2018Huawei improving with updatesHow is that exactly? There is no stable update for any Huawei or Honor phones. All we have started receiving is Beta. And God knows for how long it will continue.

                                So all that news till date about Huawei and Honor phones receiving stable Android Pie was Fake ?

                                I wonder who pushed it and why all tech sites published as if these phones have received Android Pie? Even i wondered how can phones with heavy skin and bloated UI receive Pie so early!
