Why are you surprised that the headphone jack is gone? Everybody is going to get rid of it. Who even listens to FM radio anymore? What are you talking about? The stereo speakers are there, too bad your butthurt ego can't see it. Fun fact: Every flagship (excluding OnePlus) is priced over 900 USD.

imRGZ, 18 Oct 2018Absolutely. Sony seems to have lost interest in smartphones... moreYep. I got it from Nederland in a bundle with a free pair of WH-1000XM3 headphones (380eur worth) after reading an article on GSMarena (Thanks for it). That theoretically got the phone down to 400eur if I sell the headphones (which I might not do it anymore after trying them - they are awesome).
I only had Apple and Samsung flagships until now, but this sweet deal got me the opportunity to get a different perspective. I like the phone, but I can still be objective though and realize it has it's flaws. It's certainly overpriced and it I'm sure it will not catch a top10 place in a flaghsip chart by the end of the year, but it's still a nice device.
The best feature is the screen. After having a professional photographer setting up my white balance, I can honestly state that the screen is the best one out there, surpassing all competitors. Second is the video recording. Stabilization works wonders even for high resolutions. I made some jaw dropping 4k HDR videos in good lightning and some FullHD 960fps slow motion of my kids jumping in a trampoline. I consider this things to be top features that get the phone above the crowd, while the rest are just within industry standards. Overall is a beautiful device and I can recommend it to anyone but not for the regular price. Wait for bundles or a drop in price.

Nick Tagataka, 18 Oct 2018Other points to mention:
-More RAM is always better if the... more1 - Yes that's true, however, Android doesn't consume more than 2GB of it, so 4GB must be pretty good until next year for flagships.
2 - Yep, but Adreno GPUs are much easier to optimize for apps, so when it comes to optimizations, Adreno will always be a priority. 7nm is definitely better for efficiency, but the power hungry Cortex A76 cores might make it useless or unnoticeable (of course it guarantees superior performance, which is the only better thing on Kirin 980).
3 - It's okay that you don't take me seriously, but I'm better telling you the proofs already. If you use DisplayMate as a reference, I'd laugh even more!

Nick Tagataka, 18 Oct 2018Turning on HDR requires you to leave the auto mode and go i... more1 - It's just a matter of swiping up. The extra step provides better results, only that people need to know about it.
2 - Yes, lots of oversharpening, but noise reduction is reduced to almost inexistent. If it had lots of NR, then the sharpening must leave less noise to the overall image.
3 - Its color accuracy is very consistent and always close to reality, if not really nailing it well.
Yes, the software adjusts the saturation by using its RGBC-IR sensor to make the image as color accurate as possible. Others desaturate the image to allow more light to enter. Why is it that the Note 9's greens are less colorful at night than it does in daylight??
4 - It requires a 3.5mm jack. That is, if you always have a headphones with you. And a feature that's barely being used is considered to be useless already, regardless of how beneficial it is when it works.
5 - 620 nits* did you try reading the review correctly?? The XZ3 reaches past 600 nits when set to Manual brightness. Try again please!
