Huawei Mate 20 Pro's face unlocking gets fooled quite easily

19 October 2018
Two guys with similarly short hair and beards, who aren't twins or even related, could both unlock the same phone with their faces.

Let's see how "trusty" that "FP scanner" of yours is when someone has a copy of your "FP".

Btw, my passwords are poopin on your "FP" lol

It's just a lie not more than this i was recently tested out mate 9 face unlock firmware update in the black out even i couldn't saw myself my phone recognised me but about mate 20 pro definitely more better, seriesly it's not a jock

happee, 20 Oct 2018amen to that bro! i still don't understand why people are s... moreI don't think my brain is any smaller than most peoples, I have a rather large head to be honest.
But, when a photo shoot shows a model holding their arm out for a selfie indicating that the camera being used is the actual product I find that misleading and dishonest.
All things pretty much boil down to this, You like Hauwei and I presume you will be a loyal customer for years to come and I wish you well with that. I choose to like my preferred brand of Samsung as I have had Samsung phones for many years and they have not once let me down.
But I can agree with you one thing, Android is far superior to Apple on most brands.

Jaja, 20 Oct 2018They are almost identical besides nose length. Are you seriously thinking that you seeing minor differences in someone is the same as facial recognition? Do you work for the FBI or something. I'm sorry but I think that this tech should be implemented fully with a 0.01% chance that a "similar" looking person can unlock my phone by looking at it.
I'll stay with my trusty FP scanner.

                    Well fingerprint were always better.
And nothing beats a really strong password.
                    Some kind if unpenetrable algorytm.

And people roasted Apple when they had to tap iPhone XS to charge (which was solved with software update...)

I already heard people complaining on it, it's sad considering the price of the device.

if u give ur phone to strangers maybe.

ridiculous, I thought Asians especially in China had people with the same face even they're aren't family or related to each other and the Mate 20 pro face unlocking have successfully passed thru testings.

but it fails in Germany in which people rarely has same face LOL
