Asus ROG Phone have surely taken a Crown of the Gaming Phone Category...
But Black Shark has the aggressive pricing, which can't be denied...

Hot damn! But a bit of a letdown without the headphone jack. Otherwise it looks killer. Even the pricing is lit!

Should have had a 3.5mm jack and a bigger screen. The ROG phone has a 3.5 jack and the Razor has gamepads. All 3 have the same chip

I would've said meh, but the pricing is good, so it gains my approval on that end.

The union between controllers and telephone seems too weak and susceptible to breaking. I do not care about China exclusive as they removed the audio jack so, no jack = no buy.
The Asus ROG rocks and dance above all these pseudo gaming phones.

Green is for RAZER, red for ROG, I know that you can choose u RGB color but they really should consider picking up a color and stick to it

Probably the best all round, compared to over the top Asus and not quite there Razer 2. Android needs to start pulling in proper game developers, the hardware is ready!

Just create a game development division, that's the only way any real gamer will consider buying these "gaming phones" over simply buying a Nintendo Switch + any other phone. You don't have to make multi billion dollar AAA games (not flappy bird 2.0 either), but something exclusive to your device would be neat.

That's pretty cheap, pretty good specs too. But just like most gaming phones, it's way too ugly for me to even consider buying it.
The only way I'd consider buying a gaming phone is if the company's like "also we're going to have exclusive games on our handsets and this gaming phone is the best way to experience them".
Samsung tried something...similar with the Note 9 (Fortnite). It didn't really work since it was a very shabby attempt.

Well-said. It's sad that a so-called gaming phone does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack to connect your gaming headphones. A lack of the microSD card slot would be pretty bad too.
10GB RAM is pretty cool, if for bragging rights alone. I am afraid though it might spark the next unnecessary RAM war in the smartphone realm. Glad that it finally has a notchless AMOLED screen, like the ROG Phone although the latter supports upto 90Hz refresh rate.
I also wonder whether the SD 845 is just a normal one or the 2.96GHz over-clocked, special version of the ROG Phone. Other-wise, it would be pretty similar to original SD845 Black Shark. But overall, the Black Shark Helo is a pretty good phone, save for the lack of the 3.5 mm headphone jack for connecting gaming headphones.
