Interesting... ever since after Huawei power up it's Night Mode capability, now everyone is naming after the same idea for low light camera modes - Night Sight from P3XL, now this Super Night Mode. Looks like low light capabilities will be the next in-thing for smartphone cameras.

I'm just hoping it supports Verizon's bands. I don't care if it's not sold in the US, I'll import this bad boy.

You must be out of your mind!!
A 6" full hd screen phone with legit 2 day battery life and an amazing camera...probably rhe best at that time with awesome looks!
              It was simply brilliant!

Hopefully the XIAOMI MI MIX 3's 960fps Super Slow-Mo is achieved thanks to its hardware having a built-in DRAM memory, and not by using some frame interpolation technique, for the sake of manipulating people to buy their products. I'm interested to know what camera sensor it's using...

It was probably shot in pro mode with like at least 10 seconds on a very steady tripod. Then was post processed on a computer.

sadh, 24 Oct 2018Nokia started it all with Lumia 920 and its OIS. So trend were finished in one generation, then leading developers of PureView got fired (Apple hired, btw) and everything what remained - trademark. But not tech.

PureView v1 is about zoom, while v2 is night shot. V3 (1020) combined both.

Will it blend several shots to produce night shots as good as Huawei P20 Pro?

It will make a hype if it comes with good night shots in half of the pixel 3 price . But still i think they cannot beat google pixels camera .

I hope to see a huge battery, im worried that sliding mechanism that cut the body of the phone in half, will have very thin batteries, of lower capacity. Which a deadly combination with the ever expanding huge screens. And of course to see the rumored samsung AMOLED panel confirmed, because 2 days before release, gsmarena still insists that it will be a LCD
