        I can't see the IP (ingress protection) rating anywhere. Probably means it has no protection.

        For me, its basically become mandatory that a phone has:
        - at least IP67 (without flaps!)
        - also have a 3.5mm headphone jack
        - a microSD slot (or at least 128GB UFS storage, with fast USB-C 3.1)
        - a long battery life (or at least average battery life, with a 20W fast charger)
        - r00t & unlocked bootloader (root & locked-boot is acceptable on Stock OS, ie AndroidOne)
        - and is built with an Aluminium chassis
        (glass is okay, but that ugly-shiny-slippery-fragile-fingerprint-magnet material needs to be covered by a thick case, which means any glass phone HAS to be very thin to accomodate the case).

        The screen, cameras, and processor are secondary. You need to really master the basics first. Otherwise, you're going to get a frustrating end-user experience. Or its going to be a device that's fundamentally handicapped and is going to become obsolete in a few weeks/months.

            The 960fps on the Mix3 is fake. It's 240 in reality with interpolation

              Ι was thrilled about its release and would favor it, even over Mate 20 pro, but the 3200mah makes it a pathetic combo, loughable really.
              I would accept a compromise for having a notchless phone, but this is too much...

                I'm glad this phone is going to habe the global bands but that 3,200 mAH battery and lack of stereo speakers pains me. Here's hoping that 5G mix 3s fixes that...

I ... moreAndroid version isn't updated but you do get the features of the latest versions through MIUI, even for the older models so i don't think having the latest Android version is that important, especially for the older phones but one issue with older xiaomi phones is battery life, my 2 almost 3 year old mi5 lasts just a few hours

Not like Oppo Find X. The little problem is how the protective case will be designed.

                                  Didn't Xiaomi say they weren't going to price over 675? I'm not faulting then for it as this is still significantly cheaper than the market leaders, but I'm just saying

                                    Slider means you have mechanical moving parts which makes the phone much more prone to damages.
