Samsung's launcher over Android 9.0 Pie is a huge step up.

no why did they change the buttons ?? ugly

I like the font a lot. And I'm happy they broke up the settings menu into categories without explicitly saying so. It looks like we'll get a shortcuts dock in the recently used apps page, too. Though that whole left to right method is eh.
Pretty cool. Knowing Samsung, I'll get this on my Note9 in February.

I still hate the icons but the UI is improving. But I still think the bubbles are a waste and a bad idea

Glad we still have the option of not using gesture navigation which is unintuitive and certainly an inferior option.

Looks good. The new font looks like a mix of Google's typeface with a bit of Samsung Sans.
Night mode is good. I really hope that will make the settings page look like the black Pre-Lollipop Holo version.

And thanks Samsung for always giving users choice and not forcing gesture navigation down our throats like many other makers including Apple and Google.

                        Looking good so far.
