With 32GB storage, it gets filled quickly, so I added 32GB card. I have 16MPx 4K camera, and I installed several large games. I also have Nandroid backups and Linux partition on an SD card.
Memory usage will depend on type of user, but for me, there is no need for over 64GB of memory.

Hold off for a few months. 512GB will be priced just twice as much as the 256GB. I refuse to be an early adopter.

But I agree, 512GB is overkill for a smartphone.. 128 GB is the sweet spot for me
