Was a bit iffy on the design at first but all the new features really make up for it. Its a shame that Android just can't seem to keep up with IOS when it comes to tablets, even with all the restrictions that come with IOS. May possibly be my first Apple device since the iPhone 4s...

The term pro in any apple products usually means overpriced. Pro = very expensive product.
Pro does not give u all the bells and whistles required for a professional like the old Apple days.

However, once you start using all this new stuff on a daily basis, you will understand the logic behind it. And it all makes more sense than what you currently choose to be stuck with. You just have to WANT to explore NEW things and do things in a different way which is better.
Don't dismiss new things until you have used them extensively.

I traded my first Pro with the next year Pro because it had more storage. What a lame reason for upgrading, you know?
3.5 headphone jack gone? Face ID? No no no. I have a crap ton of headphones and 2 Bluetooth ones. I LOVE CHOICES. Face ID is a temporary security feature until I display fingerprint comes out, 100%. Once it comes out, Apple will ditch it like they ditched the 1st gen iPhone X.
iOS 12 is a nightmare compared to 11, so I didn’t even bother upgrading it. Holding on to iOS 11 for dear life. Hate the gestures in 12. It WILL slow down my Pro.
The new iPad and iOS are illogical, I don’t know why Apple is doing it. I think they listen more to their trillion dollars than the user reported experience.

Using useless geekbench scores proves nothing. Cross platform gb scores are not comparable. Shitty benchmark. An i5 or i7 is much faster in real life for anything complex from a workload pespective.

And my laptop may last 2 hours gaming on max setting, but that's how long my previous gen ipad pro lasts playing PUBG too and the new batteries are about the same. How long do you think one will be able to play one of these new "console-quality" games on the new ipads - I bet no more than 2 hours even with the 7nm bionic, most likely even less. And Apple may brag about battery capacity but ipad pro needs like 6 hours to get to 100% with the stock cable and charger, which is ridiculous. And even with the fast charger I still can't plug it in and continue playing PUBG as it still discharges faster than it charges.

You still cannot connect a mouse. Still cannot connect otg peripherals like gamepads. Still cannot properly access files. Still cannot copy and paste data and needs the convoluted itunes.
Laptop my a###. All that power is wasted and useless in this. The surface pro runs rings around this in terms of usability and functionality.
