got it updated to 2.3.5 last week.no grt visible changes, minor UI improvements. All my data and apps were intact.

Iphone was an idea generated from copying other ideas and was made better and as what customer would want. Show respect for others product.

This is not news kies updated my sg1 two weekends ago. I was on jvo with a perfectly working phone and now I've got all the bugs people wrote about, bad wifi bad signal bluetooth phone call end force close and more, and its just a bit quicker, maybe , oh , and its ruined my perfectly working gps. If I could go back to jvo without hacking or loosing my warranty I would and stay there it was perfect and I should have been satisfied. I have factory reset.

Although I'm already on 2.3.7 via cyanogen, I really appreciate the fact that samsung are showing care for their older flagship.
We yet have to see if they offer ICS for the sgs as well. But that can not be expected any time sooner than atleast two months from now, when the Galaxy Nexus would already have established well and sold in good numbers. So, Fingers crossed for that !
