Anonymous, 31 Oct 2018How would you case this? You'd only need 2 screen protectors here though. Maybe the frame might need some protection, so a bumped frame protector would be good (the bump on the edges would also protect both the front and back panels from flat drops).

At $602, this is a phone better spent with than the new OnePlus 6T.
I'd make this up to $900 or even $1000 with these changes:
---Replace the main display to also an OLED one (most preferably supplied from Samsung for the best possible quality attainable) with QHD+ resolution (just notch-free plain 18:9) that's also super bright (not beating something as the Xs Max and Note 9, but be one of the brightest for a flagship this year) and properly color calibrated + HDR support
---Not judging the cameras yet, but I'd rather have a 12MP 1/2.3" sensor with f/1.8 lens and OIS and do some multi-frame stacking technique. Second camera would be a fine 16MP 1/2.8" sensor with f/1.9 lens, and with approximately 125-degree FoV, and an option to manually adjust the focus point.
---I'm not yet familiar with their OS, but I want to have some proper manual controls in the camera app, both in photo and video (something as flexible as LG's camera app would be fantastic)
---Add a 3.5mm jack and stereo speakers (earpiece + bottom speaker) that are both loud and clear, just as expected for a flagship phone of 2018
---Add IP65/68 rating (I expect flagships to have this as a standard feature starting this year)
---Maybe SD Card Slot too, even just as a hybrid option, but 128GB is enough for now IMO
---Wireless Charging solution would also be great to have, but I guess it might not work due to the backside OLED screen, so I'd understand the absence of that feature here (I feel like it's irrelevant anyways. My friend's got an iPhone 8 Plus and he still charges his phone using the charger from the box).
Do these things and I may finally see something worth considering over Samsung (well, ZTE phones are usually known to have Samsung hardware components).
The Note 9 was the closest that I've seen for an all-around flagship, and the Mate 20 Pro comes second to it very closely. This might be the one for me if ZTE did these changes.

This is really dope!
But sadly, Mr Jackie got omitted once again.
Why don't manufacturers release fully feature-packed flagships (the way Samsung does it, at least now) and instead cut off all the fluff from budget phones?

Great idea...!!!
A 2 inch screen at back for selfie assistance is may be an alternative...Other phone maker should adopt this teck to avoid notch, flip, pop up etc.

Barricade, 31 Oct 2018Am I wrong or does this phone have an even smaller chin tha... moreYeah, Apple uses the "It's an IPS LCD panel" (harder to make it bezel less) excuse to cut costs on the production while asking a price point that's even higher than what it's going to cost if it uses an OLED screen and be as bezel less as the X/Xs/Xs Max.

FaceGle, 31 Oct 2018What I'm gonna do with 2 screen?Depends on what you want to do with it, given you have the choices from the software side of it.
If you're not going to use it, then you can totally disable it, which is a great thing.

Look at ZTE coming in and stealing thunder from Huawei and Lenovo. Good job with this phone :-)
Very exciting, and I'm looking forward to seeing live photos and video instead of just renders.

That way you get a great camera for selfies, and with flash too, because it is the main camera. Clever.
64GB version for 400 euros, same price as crappy and ugly new Samsung A7...
Nubia X will surely be my new phone if i can find one.

And then there's apple giving us the last year design with different chipset and camera and calling it revolutionary.
