That's incredible, even by Apple standards. I get that there are compatibility issues (no lightning port and so on) but still, if a user is willing to deal with that hassle, you should let him do that.

Apple users are not the smartest people so everything must be very easy to use for them and apple knows that. Taking money away from not smart people is a lot easier too.

I'm not surprised at all. $130 for a new stylus with a fancy name called an 'Apple Pencil 2', that will become obsolete and unusable next year with the new iPad line and a new 'Apple Pencil 3' costing even higher at $200. Macbook laptops that have soldered components making RAM upgrade/increase and hard drive storage upgrade/increase impossible. iPhones that don't have micro sd expansion not because micro sd cards are too slow to be used for recording 4K videos and storing other media files, but because their absence will force you to buy the next most expensive storage option
because a wrong choice could render the iphone or Macbook inutile in a year's time or so when the internal storage is full. No headphone jack not because wired earbuds and wired headphones are no longer widely used or widely sold (they still are very widely used and widely sold), but because they're an opportunity for Apple to force you to buy the MORE EXPENSIVE bluetooth headphones and bluetooth earbuds they are selling. As a bonus, Apple can sell you a wireless charger to charge them too or else you'll void warranty for using non-Apple accessories. Worse, they are only as good as their battery's limited life cycle (around 300 charge-discharge cycles), forcing you to buy a new one regularly, every year or two when the bluetooth devices' batteries wear out. That's the Apple Way, and interestingly, Apple fanatics will bite the bullet and keep their eyes closed, and many actually defend the insane prices and insane inflexibility and insane non-upgradability of overpriced Apple products as the best approach because Apple said so. Clearly, a rip-off being done by Apple over and over again that iSheep will happily accept in exchange for being identified as one of the privileged few belonging to the upper class/high society. No wonder Apple is a trillion dollar company.

Doesn't really matter to the most! iPads are useful for browsing and doing little bit on light documentation and sheets....beyond that it will be really cumbersome to interact even for moderate productivity activities. It can be as fast as Ferrari but no use for real productivity tasks. People claiming here that they make millions using iPad Pro is purely bogus most likely paid trolls of the fruit company...I have no interest in iPad Pros though it looks wonderful!
