I dont get it. Why not move the chin size bezel on the top of the screen so it will house all the sensors, cameras and even a stereo speaker in that area.
Or is there a reason that screen connection to hardware needs to be on the bottom side ?

As far as I have found out, asus are using bad antennas. I get heavy lagspikes in aov on rog phone, but not on op6. Holding the phones the same way. Both connected to the same wifi and internet. Rog phone is my first asus.

Honestly, this looks like one of the finer implementations of the notch. It will be far less intrusive this way. Obviously no notch would be better, but they gotta put that front camera somewhere...
Zenfone 5z was unarguably one of the best budget phones this year, so I have high hopes for 6z as well.

Should have just either copied waterdrop middle notch or put it in the corner like those mix 2s fake pics before.
Better yet or best of all, no notch

You know, this isn't too bad, but if they made the notch, or front facing camera go all the way to the right, then it would've been perfect

I like the effort Asus have put into the notch placement but it would be so annoying after a while and in general anyway bezels > notch. Although a notch doesn't completely ruin a phone its just a shame that so many manufacturers give in to the current trends i.e, notch, no jack and no SD slot. Its the biggest reason why I haven't made the switch to Huawei, Asus or Xiaomi and have stuck with Samsung.

I actually like the notch placement--if you must have a notch that is. Makes more sense show battery on right and have a big space on left for notifications. Of course it make more sense not to have a notch in the first place.

Maybe the stereo speaker is so big or anything else so its hard to put it with notch/front camera on middle upper. As I know, there is no "waterdrop" notch phone that support dual speakers. Maybe Zenfone 6 will support it.
