for your information... at the moment, best selling is iPhone XS Max followed by iPhone XR (which started to be selling a month later and should later become the best seller) and it seems that iPhone XS is last. So to be honest people want big screen phones at decent price... small phones are in decline sales all over the world and across all brands... why do you think all brands are making bigger phones?? and they sell very well actually...
The problem with Apple is that Chinese brands closed the gap in performance and at half the price and their designs are so nice and innovative (not to mention that Samsung caught up with them years ago… that is why Apple finally jumped on the wagon of amoled screens that by the way it buys them from… yes Samsung), so it seems that the magic of overpriced and brain washing aggressive marketings of electronics is wearing off and people are waking up... GOOOOD!! finally

Soon Apple will realize that there is a high demand for SMALLER iPhones, not budget iPhones. They misinterpreted the success of the SE thinking it was all about budget. Somehow they also forgot the epic fail of the 5C, which was also evidence that there is little demand for budget. Soon, within a few years (hopefully before my SE2 breaks down), they will realize this.

I'm from Somalia, born and live in Saudi Arabia.
Sony have closed their operations in Africa, the Middle East and Turkey so I ordered thew XZ2 Premium from Amazon US for $999 with a bundle offer that came with Sony 128GB SD card, a 4000mAh power back, extra USB-C cable which is a long one and a Sony headphone 3.5 mm jack.
I also ordered the 2 in cable from Sony and the style cover touch as a standalones.
The phone is amazing and before that I had the Xperia Z for 5 years and 3 months and it was amazing and didn't break nor I needed to go for Sony support except the storage became full even after I transfer the whole data to the SD card.
I know, Sony is better than both of them but the thing Sony doesn't market or stretch there muscles when it comes name and advertising how good they're.

What did apple expect. An LCD screen with a lousy DPI with huge bezels on every side and still asking 800 dollars for it.
Hell, you can get a oneplus 6T with a minimal look, waterdrop notch, one of the best calibrated amoled Screen, awesome build and evern better optimization and UI for way much less.

The phone isn't doing well for 2 reasons. It way too expensive for what you get. You can get a much better phone for the same price. Also there isn't enough stock of it available. Many phones shops in the UK near me seem to be struggling to get them, unless you go through Apple directly.

Fingerprint reader backside) , even the Notch, most of them are abandoning it after they tried it first since people don't love it as a feature anymore!
iPhone theoretical speedier processors are double edged sword and one of the primary reasons for batteries dying faster and forced upgrade path...

They are doing it all because of money!! What we can say as truly innovative recently are in-screen fingerprint scanner and night sight picture which was all done by other cost effective company while apple are making expensive garbage only to look after money making like iphone xr please be smart customer
