second, on tablet scene at least, Apple is 1-2 years ahead. Their 'budget' ipad of 2018 is on par with Samsung's S4 (which btw runs on older chip like the ipad 2018...except that ipad 2018 is cheaper with apple pencil support. There are no other android tablet that are on par with ipad...don't even start with pixel slate that overpriced p.o.s)
iPad apps are better than Android tablet apps in terms of both availability, optimisation for tablet as well as range.
New iPad pro is a showcase of what Apple is capable of, and how much they are ahead..and possible signs of ending the laptop market in coming years (as their in house chips are now very very competitive). This is NOT about cost, its about technological advancement and feature. unfortunately there isn't a single Android tablet capable of this kind of power.
yeah sure, base storage sucks (I mean 128gb as base for this price..is that too much? It's like extra $30 for it) but this is still the best tablet market has to offer. you want affordable and good tablet? iPad 2018 is still the best tablet as well!!

If they make the best possible products, they will be expensive. If they try to make their products affordable, they can't use the latest and greatest tech.
The masses can keep on using OnePlus, Samsung, and all the Chinese android phones out there. They still do their job at a lower price point. With some huge security and privacy caveats, but that's what you get for using a "free" OS like android. It's not free at all and I'd much rather pay money for a non-invading OS instead of letting it collect all the data and metrics about me and serve me the information it wants.

Seriously I hate Apple and its China slave policy and them zombie fan sheep.. But this pencil charging method is intuitive and non-issue.. I really think the new iPad is good.. An even better buy than the iPhone.. You can buy the iPad and pair it with a KaiOS or basic Android phone and be efficiently productive and still cheaper than buying the iPhone

Does the Qi standard even support a coil squeezed into that small of an area? I've never seen one smaller than 4-ish cm across.
