Xiaomi Mi 8 and Mi Mix 2S receive Mi Mix 3's Night Scene camera mode

China's closed beta ROM is the first one to get it but the rest of the markets will soon follow.

Anonymous, 09 Nov 2018Mi6 has similar setup. Bring it to mi6. or Mi Note 3, but I won't hope so much, considering GCam with Night Sight is also available as (better?) replacement.

    gkn.bzr, 11 Nov 2018still no 4k/fhd@60fps? no 1080@960fps? i cant believe...The former is available in Mix 3, no idea whether they will be backported to Mix 2S and 8 series or not. For the latter (in 720fps, though), I assume Mix 3 doesn't have embedded memory in the sensor (which some vendor uses to implement the 960fps), but I could be wrong. If it's not backported, consider Mix 3 does have that additional hardware.

          Yes, night mode is already present in camera version 3 on Mix 2s, came with global beta 8.11.8

            Photos in daylight look incredible, but a Gcam APK will still obviously wash the floors with stock camera, night mode etc.

                No Ois on the Pocofone so probably the Night Scene will not be as good as the 2S and Mi8
