They also replaced the whole front of my iPhone 7 plus (bought second hand) due to the earpiece being quitter than normal (spilled ketchup on it and cleaned it but was still quite so they said -no water damage) covered under the European consumer rights ( 2 year warranty on phones) aka for free.
In countries which have apple stores apple support is by far the best. Had to send my lg g3 to lg for bootlooping and I had to wait for 4 weeks only for them to replace the motherboard. Not happy.

Don't settle for repair boys, believe me. Apple is verry well known for their "repairs" you can't fix something that is from design broken. Ask for a new one.!!.

Same as to any computer designs and car engines. It is an already known fact that if you don't want to deal with such issues, don't be an "early adopter" and wait for the 2nd or the third release. You are NOT being forced to buy the first gen, it's always your call to get or to skip one.

The new xs and xs max and the lesser xr have no more issues. Xr didn't have any issues. Xs and xs max had some charging issues which were quickly fixed. That is something majority of brands don't do, fixing problems quickly.
This article is about last year's device and isn't a new device with problems and at least apple acknowledged it and are doing the right thing about it. That's a good thing. No device is perfect u should grasp this. Even a billion dollar rocket can run into problems. At least with Apple any problems and they will rectify it pretty quick. Every single brand can have faulty devices which is no excuse but that's life.

And if it goes wrong its just another out of date phone according to apple as they would rather you bought another. And as for price the price is not because its worth that its because there super rich and can afford to charge that.
If Applewere just a small company there phones would not be priced at half as much and you would be embaressed to buy one

Yes, you can showoff that you have a luxurious smartphone but only for several months/few years. That's why I'm saying that someone has a problem if one wants to buy one of those phones. Those luxury phones only exsist because there are those who buy them, that's all there is to it.
And about the other guy, I'm pretty sure he's taking iPhones as a status symbol, as to why he just feels special having it, and just becoz it's pricier and not used by majority of people.

However, that guy wasn’t talking about luxury, he was actually mentioning ‘premium’. For Apple offers premium quality devices with the latest and best tech, which feel good in the hand, to the touch and in use. They are a pleasure to look at, to touch, feel, and interact with them. Thus, making oneself feel good.

But about 40 different companies sells this phone and its price range warries from 1447 euros up to 1889,30 euros at the moment.

let's compare the iPhone XS with a typical flagship with SD845.
iPhone:
Uses 6 cores (2+4) config clocked at 2.5 GHz+1.5GHz for the weaker cores.
Snapdragon 845:
8 core configuration:
4+4 with the power cores at 2.8 GHz+1.7 GHz for the weaker cores.
ASSUMING the two had the same performance per MHz. (which is obviously impossible. as apple has TWICE the raw performance of the SD845 at a lower clock frequency too. but let's say for this scene.) you'd obviously take the SD845 as it's clocked higher.
RAM. the iPhone XS has 4 GB of RAM.
the typical Android phone starts out at 6GB. and scales up to 10 GB. assuming the two had the same RAM governor. you'd take the one with 6 GB of ram over 4 GB.
GPU.
these two are beasts but... Apple G12MP4>Adreno630 (I call the apple GPU G12 as G stands for Graphics and it's A12. so G12 belongs to A12. and MP stands for Multiple Processor)preforms on RAW preformance about 20-25% better over Adreno 630. so if graphics are important. iPhone is the way here.
Next is Endurance. Apple never had astounding endurance to begin with. and only recently Apple passed the avarage mAh to over 2500. in the Android realm. you'd see 3000-6000 mAh battery. and assuming the two had the same power drainage. which battery you'd take? a 2675 mAh battery? or a 4100 one?
Do note that I do assume that when I compare and explain. the two has same drainage. in reality. it's different.
However I do agree with you that User experience on iPhones is unique. the complain of Android users is the lack of costumisability. ^^;

AnonD-800802, 11 Nov 2018Lmfao..read the post and try again..seem lack of comprehens... moreAs a person who has iOS (iPhone XS/256 GB) and an Android phone (Snapdragon galaxy Note 9) I would partially disagree. the STOCK ROM can be considered somewhat "Commoner" in android as there are no unique features that other phones can't do. HOWEVER. put on a skin that has excellent and useful features without too much bloatware and it's a great phone.
as for iOS. It's not all diamonds and gold y'know. there are things that when I am using the iPhone as my main driver I get frustrated. Such as song transfer without iTunes. I have considered to jailbreak my phone to have free transfer but then I need to recuff it for updates and then jailbreak again. there are Pros and Cons to ANY OS.

Also deppends on where you buy.
If you get straight from apple maybe it works like this but if you buy via contract trough mobile carrier thats completely different story.
And country where you live matters the most.
Trust me i know what i am saying about.
