Google aims to push more OEM devices in switching to Android Pie by the end of 2018.

They said this with Oreo..


The change treble has bought is miniscule, only a few OEMs are improving their speed (like Huawei) but even then... its not by a huge margin...

                  XZ3, XZ2, XZ2 Premium, Xz2 Compact, Xz1, Xz1 Compact and XZ Premium had Android 9 firmware out.

                    Google just made another reason for many OEMs to release many phones with outdated Android version. SMH

                    It must be a given that every Android phone could easily switch between OEM custom Android skin and pure and stock Android One experience. The choice is up to the user on what he/she prefers.

                      oh...kay, but didn't you already declare this with Android 8.0 Oreo??!?

                      If only I could be this lenient with my mortgage payments.
