JOHN, 17 Nov 2018i think we must agree to disagree mr walter, for me orthogr... moreAh, my friend, you misunderstand. The liberty and enjoyment is in the orthography for me. Is it boring and dull? Perhaps. But, is it truly boring to me however? No. Whose opinion matters more to me? Mine, or yours?

Walter C. Dornez, 16 Nov 2018To be fair, Samsung has engineered an unbreakable OLED pane... moreThe OLED may be unbreakable (that alone is not possible in any shape or form) but the glass covering it will still be breakable, and using a phone while cutting yourself and not seeing anything because of glass shatters is not an alternative

Still notch even a small dot on the left corner it is really a notch, be wise aand really annoying is it easy to just remove it once for all, the overall display and screen looks nice however remain one little notch on the left then shall we remove it as soon as possible. No uses of front selfie camera who cares put it on the back so we have all 98% full display and 2% very thin bezel. I know samsung can do it.

JOHN, 17 Nov 2018Its funny because you insist some formality in a casual wri... moreEven "Casual writing" needs something as basic as "Punctuation". I could easily read your sentence and I got an excellent language skill. HOWEVER. Due to the lack of these basic signs. The same sentence could be interpretted in many ways. And the avarage reader would find it hard, to understand and comprehend: "Hold on.... What exactly the author meant?".
That's why.

Kiyasuriin, 16 Nov 2018What's so funny...? ^^;Its funny because you insist some formality in a casual writing, this is casual writing, casual writing punctuation is not a must, just use your language skills to understand the sentence, use your rationalisation skill, that Walter guy was able to understand the sentence even without punctuation

NO
NOt
NOtch!
#No! to the O.
Samsung!, for your own sake (& ours) please step away from the Notch!
Maybe this O is a P.R. marketing gimmick so they can still claim that they have have a notchless, bezel-less display, & to save face from rivals who were ridiculed their notches.
If you were going to do this, then it would be better to have this O centralised, and as close as possible to the the top or bottom of the frame (@ the bottom would be out of the way for portrait reading useage, and the user can always rotate the handset 180° for selfie/ video calls).
Even if it's a centralised u or n waterdrop micro notch would be better than this inset floating O punched through the corner of the screen.
If this O was invisible & not affecting the screen display then ok bravo, but it is visible, and also if the speakers are affected by this design change, then please don't do it.
1 of the main reasons people choose/ remain with Samsung smartphones is because they make the best screens with no notches or intrusions in their display panel.
We don't have any intrusion on our TV display panel or any other display panel & I don't want 1 on my phOne's display panel either, where it's even mOre nOticeable at clOse prOximity.
A dead pixel would be noticeable, but nOt nearly as bad as a hOle punched thrOugh the display.
No notch is best, having no notch is a U.S.P. nowadays, if Samsung isn't ready with the invisible underscreen camera, then no problem stick with the minimized top & bottom bezels for now and make the existing components even better, especially speakers.
This would be my preference.
Or they could improve on the slider, making it as high IP as possible, >IP65.
Or do away with the front selfie camera & just use the main one on the back with a back screen, this should be relatively easy for a screen manufacturer.
Oh & if there's a Bixby button then please make sure it's a user defined smart button including all actions & none.
