Think about it.
A samsung device uses an OS made and managed by Google, in-house built RAM, camera, CPU, Screen etc.
Apple has to develop and manage its own OS (the most expensive thing on an iPhone), and BUY screens and ram and strorage from other companies. Of course both the customer (apple) and the suppliers (Samsung for screens, ram etc, Sony for cameras etc) have to make profit so the selling point is higher.
An iphone with exactly the same specs as a Galaxy phone will always be more expensive.
This is why apple is looking into making in-house components. Although at first the prices might go up because of increased spent on R&D.

Imagination largest customer was Apple, its stock price took a major hit
I read here GSMA that whilst imagination was worried it strong point was that Apple would run into Patent issues I.e those held by Imagination.
What happened after I have no idea, except that Apple did go it alone, this suggest a license arrangement
This announcement comes shortly after a judge ordered Qualcomm to license something or other (read the GSMa article) I.e Qualcomm modem are licensed to Apple which makes more sense.
Apple cannot simply out a build one from scratch as those who have gone before own patents, whilst many think IOS is an Apple product, Apple pays Nokia for the patented procedure IOS incorporates
To be clear Nokia who once were the only smart phone maker has gotten paid for every device IOS run

Huawei have their own solution too, but they dont license it so dont know the name.

They are still cheaper because they arent as popular in western markets and are trying to increase their market share. There is nothing noble about it. That's just business

"---Assembled in china". This means the chinese make the pieces EXACTLY ACCORDING TO APPLE's standard and assemble it according to their blueprints.

As you probably know. We (and that includes everyone, including you) are social creatures that need a group to belong to. Naturally when you belong group A, you'll feel the need to defend it, and attack Group B. That has different features than A.
Now. How exactly it's related to this article?
First off. It's about Apple, A person that loves the Ecosystem of Android would feel the need to protect their group. Typically, there is not much of collision between the groups. But for several eras Apple users from pre 2010 mocked android users that they are "Superior", and so on. Hence till today there are true apple haters.
As for me?
I am an avarage potato who doesn't like Apple, but im the otherhand doesn't overwhelmly hate it either. ^^;
