LTE-flaunting Galaxy S II Skyrocket gets 2.3.6 OTA update

After updating my ATT SG2 to 2.3.6 OTA, I am experiencing lot of battery drain. Is there a way to solve this issue? now that my battery does not stand for 12 hrs with normal usage. I am seeing this issue in many forums, google dev's should fix this soon

version 2.3.6 sucks in my galaxy s2 ...drain my battery like hell... after fully charged, once unplug, it immediately drop to 99%...after 2 hours, battery percentage drop till 75% ... Its sucks.. even version 2.3.5 are much better

useless version, after update, use driver unfound, call the services center also cany help and no driver at they website also, they advice to me is bring the phone to the services center and reinstall version 2.3.5. if you using phone as modem, better dont update to this useless "unknow" version!

it's called "SGS2 unlock" but you must have a rooted phone to get the code.

I have SGS2 i have updated mine before yours. we'll if you are on a us carrier then that sucks because it is locked. but there is always tweaking to unlock it. INTERNET WILL PROVIDE THOSE FOR YOU!

but i think t... more...and that sounds like Samsung is relatively good at updating which is totally opposite what you claimed.
in fact, my SG1 got official GB update ahead of ANY brands(Moto, HTC, SE or whatever). why can't i love Samsung, especially for the after service department.

Use XDA for firmwares and Odin to flash.except that flashing a ROM or anything like that voids your warranty.
Because you can do something doesn't mean you should!

For my regular Samsung galaxy s2, i updated from 2.3.3 to 2.3.5, wooo.. my battery life increased by around 50% more. But sadly google talk video/audio not yet there.

samsung is very poor on providing updates
but i think they are in plan to provide ICS so they are not bothering to update it right now

Man all you guys so lucky. In australia(on Telstra network) the samsung S2 is still running on 2.3.3 and I been told from samsung if we lucky 2.3.4 will be coming out by xmas.

Only got one minor update via kies,
still stuck on ret4rded 2.3.3, no gtalk video calls & battery issue!
I don't understand Samsung policy either.
Sgs2 INDONESIA.
