AhmedShaikh, 20 Nov 2018I don't get it. Wdym by Win 95?The OS is full of security holes and can be easily transformed into a spying tool in a matter of seconds. (by visiting a website, installing an app from the store, connecting to a computer, leaving the bluetooth or wifi active, etc.)

Oh, and not to mention it's already a user monitoring and data collection tool for google.

Anonymous, 20 Nov 2018$100 off? Even if it costs $100 it's still too expensive..... moreI don't get it. Wdym by Win 95?

At these prices you can grab a Samsung S8 and S8 Plus, which after hacking, becomes a potent device. And you benefit from the better support, parts, and accessories.

Oh, and you get a proper USB-C port, Headphone Jack, and IP68 Waterproofing.

...and for certain markets (USA, Canada, UK, etc) you can even find the Note8, S9, and S9+ devices instead, bonus!

Anonymous, 20 Nov 2018Like iOS is any betterOf course it's better. It offers something that android is against for.

iOS offers data security, does not track its users, protects their privacy, and does not profile them. And their App Store does not allow shady and spyware apps to be published. They even removed Tumblr from the store recently.

On top of that it offers a consistent a polished UI across all their devices and across all areas of the OS itself. No weird visuals or wrong combinations of UI colours. 100% consistent UI is better than a customisable one where you can get 50-80% of it right, while the rest looks like... well... you know what it looks like when launchers, themes, and icons never work together perfectly everywhere in the OS.

Oh and did I mention data encryption, user privacy, no tracking/monitoring, and also the T2 chips which allow the OS to brick the device in case someone messes with the hardware?

android is fine for people who want to share their whole lives with and hand over all their data and details to google. And they don't care about getting the wrong information and results from google, which present a distorted reality.

Everyone else who wants to get search results, news, articles, blogs, reviews, any information which is in line with reality, will not resort to a google device or google service.

                Well said

                        $100 off?
Even if it costs $100 it's still too expensive... android phones are worth less than their hardware...
It's like a new laptop with top specs, but stuck with windows 95 and you are unable to use anything else on it...

I wonder if they add 100 of and they still make a profit.
