In india any one can get a phone with sd 660 at around 15000-17000 (around 200-250$). A block head will go for this phone just for best camera.
I can buy poco f1 and a very good camera in the same price and still some bucks left. 😁

And 32Gb is probably the entry level storage not the only one. And the 670 is a very good midrange chip so performance won't be much of a problem.

The front panel reminds me of my Nexus 5x which is still going strong after 3 years. Would definitely consider an upgrade is this is real and priced reasonably for the specifications included.

Honestly, 400-500 is too much considering its alleged specs.
The fact that it's supposed to be a 32GB storage device with no SD is a big limitation nowadays given that the OS will eat up half of that. Then there's the 670, the LCD, etc.
A good camera and a headphone jack don't justify that price.
Google is going Apple.

Software is supposed to be your bread and butter but two flagships in a row...you come out with all these bugs and poor RAM management. Nah. That's not enough of a reason to make the Pixel a buy.

IMHO, those samples look just fine, especially the detail of the building wall texture. I will very sure with GCam HDR+, any lower spec camera hardware will still be able capture the best image.

Anonymous, 20 Nov 2018Oh boy, is it going to be expensive... It is a Google phone... What did you expect. Google is not going to grab market share. It is making a platform to develop the Android system. And because some people like new stuff and are not afraid of having new features first, they also sell these to customers.
Also if you want to have good upgrades in Android environment, there are Google, Sony and HMD (aka Nokia) phones to offer that.

So not bad at all. It all depends on the price. It is long time since last "low" end Google phone. For 400-500$ is you want to have the best OS support to Android device, this is ok.
You can ofcourse get more speedy hardware from those Chinese brands, but they are their own in anyway. I would not touch those, but they are quite popular. And nothing bad in that! I just personally prefer quality and security over the price.
