Between me and family and friends, we had 11 Galaxy S and Note phones, for many years none of them never had any fault. To me, I never thought a mobile device needs repairs.

I believe the bend test to be a valid point, I know many people who put their phone's in their back pocket.
I've misplaced my phone in the dark upside down and have stepped on it on carpet with no issues.
Just admit that this phone didn't pass the bend test and move on. The fact that it's failing more and more is exactly why people are calling it a chinese cheap phone.

Dam, I was thinking of buying the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, Thank you...for informing me about this... I guess I'll be looking towards a Samsung instead..

Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a rushed phone.The Mate 20 is a perfect one.The pro fails hard.One with the screen color leaking in low light,thermal throttle,high price,limited nano sd card availability,no gorilla glass 5,no headphone jack,no Super Amoled and the curved long screen and the notch too.
Huawei made tons of mistakes while releasing this one.I am hardly against Huawei copying Samsung for this,they don't have the OG blueprint for it and it's just a bad copied version.
Mate 20 is an amazing phone and includes all the best features a 2018 phone should.It also has a flat screen and only a water drop notch.
If you have money just buy the Mate 20 and skip this one.

The problem is that Huawei rushed this phone. The screen had colors leaking and problems during low light,the sd card and the curved screen.Huawei didn't test this phone enough and put a large price.Still this phone sells like hot cakes in Asia and Europe.
Also it costs 1k$.It's NOT the "you get what you pay" for BS now kid.And honestly,the price will drop very soon.Same as mate 10 pro is now 400$.

[deleted post]Projecting much? It seems you are telling everyone you are an Apple fanboy and didn't like the fact that iPhone 6 just bent in pocket. Who cares what others think if you like their phone. This guy broke a phone that I like and I still like it. It works great and no scratches or breakage what so ever. This guys is similar to the youtubers who throw flashlights against a wall as hard as they can to prove durability. How many flashlights should be engineered to withstand that? I suggest not paying attention to nonsense comments. Hope you are getting a new iPhone XS for the holidays, those look amazing for those who love iphones.

Although the bend test is highly unrealistic as the butt cushions the pressure a bit, I think
build quality should not fall with newer generations.
Maybe Huawei should think about getting one of those automated test butts like Samsung and one plus
