How about no selfie camera? Given the direction things are going, selfie cameras should die out sooner or later. There are alternatives in place, such as a second screen on the back.

Why isn’t a slider option in this poll? Vivo and Oppo are doing the right thing by putting the selfie cam in the slider.

Phone makers are crazy for notch. But the problem is that it's not the notch or the size of the screen or the bezels or the resolution of the selfie cam. It's the hubris of the pepole.

No need for a selfie camera. It ain´t so hard to take a selfie by turning your phone but I guess youngsters want everything be so easy.

you guys all know that samsung really hates the notch thing.. thats why there will be "new
innovation" coming from them.. and it's wonderful!

I honestly dont think we need selfie cams to make holes in our photos and videos.

I prefer slim bezels with camera, sensors, earpiece with stereo support. and bottom bezel should have a always active finger print sensor not underscreen.

Why not ditch the selfie camera and include a mirror at the back?.
                          Or just go selfie less.??

For what it's worth notches are alright.. If you think of them as extensions of the screen into bezels.. Rather than an intrusion into the screen... As usual if apps ignore the notch and only use the rest of the screen for its use and leave the notch to the system to display status and notifications.. That will be the best scenario

Note 9 could 150mm and be perfectly pocketable if they were to use a teardrop camera. But instead the went for the whole 160mm making it the tallest Note to date and the most uncomfortable to use. It was probably its biggest problem. A notch could had saved it.

A teardrop notch is taking a place of the screen that literally has nothing useful going (center of the notification area). So it is debatable how much smaller screen you actually take. The sides of the top screen (where all the useful info is) is still intact.
