I would prefer any feature rich Android skin over stock anyday, though from Color OS and MIUI, I would prefer MIUI. But not as much that I would be willing to buy an under specced device for the same price.
    And as for cribbing over internet, people nowadays are cribbing a lot more over MIUI than for Color OS.
    Also, as far as issues with Color OS are concerned, well before bashing anyone else, you should first consider the fact that you have not experienced it. Just saying something you have read on the internet would make YOU look stupid not me. You remember the recent Jon Morrison prank, where he posted a Pixel clicked photo, and said it was clicked with an iPhone. It's similar with people bashing Color OS. You need to use it with an open mind before passing your judgement.
    I am personally using Color OS for over a month now, and had been using MIUI for year and a half before that. As a neutral person, I am not denying that MIUI is better than Color OS. But in the last month and a half, RM has pushed 3 updates to the 2 Pro, major changes being improvement in camera, battery, single swipe notification dismiss (which was one of it's biggest quirks). Also it's currently on the latest November security patch. The performance is buttery smooth, no lags or any kind of hiccups. Again, my advice for you would be to kindly not to pass any judgements on something which you haven't ever used or even felt in hand. Also if you think having substantially small bezels and notch doesn't make any difference, "I cannot argue with you". The "plasticky feel", well, you can take the same arguement that Xiaomi gave for the Poco F1.
    RM 2 Pro is better than Redmi Note 6 Pro (for the price obviously), period. That's the fact. Accept it or deny it, it won't change the truth.
    Someone says Honor 8x>RM2Pro, I will accept that. But someone saying Redmi Note 6 Pro>RM2Pro, well that means that someone is clearly a Xiaomi fanboy.

Color OS is laughable, battery life is bad, and the audio through headphone jack is worse than anyone can imagine. Really bad purchase I made. Only positive is its display.

Realme2 pro (which will apparently get bootloader unlocking soon making it an unbeatable deal, Zenfone max pro m1 which is a lot cheaper, has stock Android, bigger battery, has similar specs and doesn't have a notch. No 5ghz Wi-Fi is the only notable shortcoming. There's also max pro m2 upcoming which will come with SD 660. All the above phones also have true dual SIM + memory slot while Xiaomi sticks with the stupid hybrid slot.
            And there's the tested Note 5 pro which is almost same as 6 pro, better with no notch design and will cost less

                    I am quite annoyed if Xiaomi releases it little by little more expensive every time they release a new cellphone. I am a Xiaomi fan, the characteristic of Xiaomi seems to have disappeared. Almost every month they release 1 to 2 cellphones, I can find out that.

                          Any Xiaomi phone is great. Just stay away from phones powered by Mediatek.

                            AdilAhmed, 24 Nov 2018Look and feel two different think.... look real nice phone... moreBro it's ok if you bought the Note 6 Pro, it's not a bad phone by any means. And assuming you got it for the equivalent of 12.5k INR, it makes it even better.
                            But still you cannot deny that the Realme 2 Pro is a better device for 14k (I got it for 12.6k during sale). Xiaomi is just riding on it's success which it got because it gave the best bang for the buck, by a margin. It's 100% going to fall if they continue with under whelming launches like the Note 6 Pro.

                                    3. Just look at it's photo and compare side by side with the Redmi Note 6 Pro's photo. If you still feel it is "less premium", well I have no words. :)

                                        -No premium feel? Are you kidding? The Redmi with that giant notch and huge chin and bezels feels more "premium" to you than Realme's small notch, real small chin, and smaller side bezels? You cannot be serious.
                                        -And that underclocked 660 would still kill 636 without a sweat, plus that Adreno 512 GPU is superior to tge 509.

                                        Fast charging, yes it's there in the Redmi, but you still have to pay extra over the already high price plus ads, so don't think it should count. :)
