Ah guys guys!!! don't believe on this story. They are tryin' to destoy the image of Apple. This passenger only dropped his phone due to excitement arriving Sydney. I always travel to HK, China, Thailand, Macau with my iPhone switched on, never happens to my phone explodes or broke during the flight.

i did some testing in Lipo battery's,i am a very big fan of model RC boats and planes.. not the toys but the real models. i have a used a 230 $ special lipo charger that can balance and charge and cycle a lipo battery. it checks te battery 15 times a second. i did some tests with nokia ,samsung and sony lipo batterys and charged and used them in the phone with the normal stock wall socket charger. than i took all the batterys out of the phones and charged them with the RC model charger. with all phones i gained well over 250% longer standby/use time.
my simple conclusion is that the normal wallchargers /charge cercuit in the phones are not giving the batterys the proper charge cycle.
i did this test becouse i wanted to use some older lipos from phones for a flashlight project on my night flyer plane.becouse i could load them up with much more juice than the normal charger i did this test..
so rubbish .. ? dont think so .just a cheap charge solution in the phones what will work for sure. But its not giving the max power out of the lipo.s thats all ..
