Samsung will dual source Galaxy S10's ultrasonic fingerprint reader

The two companies that were picked worked with Qualcomm to develop the reader. They also supply Apple with touch panels for the iPad.

Anonymous, 29 Nov 2018Side fingerprint scanner? Hmm .. Not very confortable. Sony used a side finger print scanner with their xperia xz premium which I found very good and responsive.

        Just give me flat OLED with that hole and integrated fingerprint reader. I break all my phones for not having an glass screen protector.
