Mixpanel: iOS 12 adoption rate reaches 75%

29 November 2018
One in every five iPhones, iPad and iTouches stays at iOS 11, one in every 20 has an even older OS.

Someone like OnePlus should offer a subscription, where you get a new phone for free each year for returning your old one. The upfront cost will go higher, but it will still be more value-for-money than an iPhone.

First correct your information then comment about the thing.
      God...
At least know what your talking about.

I also want to add that I don’t care about your personal thoughts which is totally false as well.

Ultra Instinct Goku, 29 Nov 2018Just custom rom your android and update it to pie There,... moreI've done a bit of Android custom ROM flashing; support is hit and miss depending on your phone/tablet. I wouldn't count on many flagships' cameras performing nearly as well on a custom ROM, for example.

Anonymous, 30 Nov 2018Oh great, the usual bunch of sad loser haters talking smack... moreFirst correct your information then comment about the thing.

Also I want to add that your iOS is bland and doesn't have anything like Android.
The Android is much heavier and faster than your light OS.

SS, 29 Nov 20181 on every 100 android phones have a chance to get Pie. lolOMG!!! don't you check the internet???
The high end of the Android phones and some mid rangers get the new updates

SS, 29 Nov 2018Salty android lollipop users everywhere. LolLolz I'm and Pie and it seems your the salty since it caught your attention

Duel, 30 Nov 2018"I meant by that comment the 4 year of updates on a single ... moreNo it will because the old hardware won't new software of updates unless it's so light and the iOS doesn't have widgets or themes or anything else. But know if they don't slow down then Apple will purposefully slow down your phone in the future

kalel, 30 Nov 2018Wrong. Ios 12 increases performance even on the iPhone 5s w... moreYeah one phone not many and these kinds articles are marketing tricks and it's to make the people believe that the no OS is faster doing and better.
I don't believe it will make the 5S faster because the software and the hardware are different that each other also the processor won't handle that much of a pressure since the storage is small on the 5S.

Look if it worked for you that's fine but don't think that that it won't make the phone lighter.
I won't credit because these things media says it and no engineers.
You think I'm making up things wow, I saw articles and videos saying that and not from the ones last year cause it was new and it was before the release of iPhone XR.
Also the other videos or articles are seem to be gone because I searched again and looks Apple are scrapping their flaws on the websites so they may not get sued from the people with their low iPhone sales.
                  https://www.knowyourmobile.com/ios/25381/how-stop-apple-throttling-your-iphones-power-ios-12

And the 5S and the 6 slowing down was a lie because they wanted the people to buy their phones every year and people were sufficient and there were nothing new with the phones and interesting as the Android phones.
                  So don't believe that lie.
                  Please wake up !!!

Oh great, the usual bunch of sad loser haters talking smack again; iOS has high adoption rate and less fragmentation also wanna bash.

Pfft seriously, enjoy your crap fragmented Android for years to come by all means. After all from the comments you guys clearly love having OEMs not give you updates or the latest OS versions.

no it won't time will. But of course from now on the difference is lot smaller. I can easily think that my last year iPhone X will be fast for many years still. It's so powerful and fast

KamAbdi, 29 Nov 2018No there were reports saying Apple again were slowing down ... moreWrong. Ios 12 increases performance even on the iPhone 5s which was stated clearly on a separate article when gsmarena tested new os on iphone 5s which is a 5 year old phone and now it's faster than before. When updating several times, it removes previous updates from storage and older iphones are not slower. I tried on my old iphone 5s too and it is much faster than before. Credit where credit is due.
There is no facts to what u stated that Apple slow down iphone 8,x. They only slowed down the iPhone 5s and 6 to benefit the longevity of the phone with a battery upto 5 years old.
These are all positive things no space for any negativity about this at all

You got it all wrong iOS12 made every iOS device faster, not slower.

Anonymous, 29 Nov 2018Your argument makes no sense, then how come windows updates... moreThe computer and the phones are two different things.
Have you saw all the computer OEMs do home UIs on their computers or that Microsoft does it on their own theme and look????
Android isn't mess and Android OEMs didn't make that policy, but Google did.
Tell why Google can do 3 years of updates when other do 2 years of updates???
