A... moreDude I had Xperia Z for five years and it's OS got updates to Android 6 and it was fine by me and now I have the XZ2 Premium and I got one month ago and for one month I was using the Android 8 Oreo then got the update of Android 9 Pie and I may the the Android 10 in the summer because for project treble it is fastens the process. And I like it.

Yeah good luck with the slow downs of the updates that will do on the phone and how Apple will add more things to even slow down further your smartphone so you buy them quickly

Duel83, 29 Nov 2018Why so bitter? How any of what you just said help Androi... moreLOL Dude I ain't but speaking fact.
First of all, I didn't talk or bring the Android users.
Second of all, supporting iOS for more years will only add troubles to the storage and add more heft on the system so the phone slows down.
Third of all, enough of being of saying iOS adds features, because Android adds as well and features it's about the companies not the OS provider because each one of the android OEMs have their software on top of using Android so they can add features as well. Apple is one company who does all their things but till now they don't give either launchers nor themes.
Forth of all, the iOS is so light that they get five years of updates even with small storages.

Apple doesn't add much to their phones when it comes to the hardware and the Android companies do, so you have to pay as well and the 2 year update policy came from Google not the Android OEM so go blame but I understand why Google made that policy.

No, I'm not bitter and it didn't make bitter because honestly I don't comment of every Apple topic they do but I hear the world and the media outlet like to show how Apple makes their updates reach all their phones which is a funny thing. Because Android companies has so much than Apple so it's useless and it didn't make bitter. But it made you bitter to answer me so yeah.

How any of what you just said help Android users?

When you buy iPhone you buy years of support and getting new features 5 years later when you bought the device, it's definately something what Apple should brag about and one reason why Apple users are willing to pay lot for iPhone.

As Android user you pay lot for device and are lucky if you get two years support.

"and GSMA wastes their time on it" well you are here and wrote that bitter comment, so i think it's working very well.

Yup since Jobs is gone less and less people are interested in this brand and i am glad for that.

Even if they reach 100% of updates, it is only for one phone not the the Android that has many companies and everyone of them of different home UI.
So no need Apple to brags about that and GSMA wastes their time on it

                    Okay.
Apple has been great on updating phones immediately after experiencing issues on products.
But, how accurate are these results though?
