      in the era of Web, very small numbers can be the winners, and all those winners are the best quality, and are so huge and powerful. whatsapp, google search, amazon, android, youtube.

            Hangouts could have been developed to be better than iMessage but there too scatter brained at Google and will rather make a dozen half baked apps than one that actually works well.

They've got the balls to shelve failing products instead of pumping countless money in them and not caring about what others would think. Considering they have one of the biggest r&d budgets second behind Amazon its a smart move.

                    While know vrey few people that use Hangouts, I know zero people that use Allo or Duo.
                    And I generally dislike IM that's based on your phone number. Because it doesn't work on anything without a SIM card in it.

                        Those 3 people will be dissapointed :(

                          Also it handels network changes the best. Also it just works flawlessly and doesn't have the stupid agressive things of FB Messenger.

                                I used Win10 Mobile but even I hate Skype. It can't be moved to SDCard, eats lot of internal storage (300mb), and the worst is, none of my friends using it (lmao).

                                        Sad news. Hangouts is the most stable platform when it comes to group calls for me. Skype freezes each and every half a minute for 2-3 seconds, for example. With Hangouts, I don't encounter this.
