Finally, an alternative to the trash of Google and Apple.

It's taken Google ten years to get to the point of forcing makers to use treble, on some kit, it could have made it compulsory many years ago, once storage had become so much cheaper.

Which is why I dit... moreChrome, googles largest crime yet, absolutely usless for everything, and as they keep proving, Google make an even worse hash with hardware than they do with code.. When you look at Google, minus search, can you 5hink of, name one product that hasn't either been aborted very quickly after release or been full of problems, apart from Gmail and some of the nexus line, everything has basically either flopped or been killed, which then makes me wonder exactly how did supposedly the same people manage to make such a huge success of search when they have such an awful record with the rest of their attempts to expand outside search and advertising, yes, I know it's made lots of folk very wealthy and is seen as a huge success, especially in America, but it does make me wonder about some of the old, early stories about how the original group got where they did !!

Anonymous, 02 Dec 2018It never fails to make me laugh at how many people pour hat... moreI still use winmo 6.5 on a weekly basis, nothing wrong with it, apart from being insecure as it's years out of date, but for secure work, I just boot into android instead, winmo maybe basic, but it can still do stuff that others can't, that's why I still keep my collection of htc hd2's, a unique phone, that becomes more stand out everyday, there will probably never be a device that is so flexible and amenable to be played or tinkered with, its still fast, if you run the right roms on it, screen size is still ok, it's only when you try to run desktop os's that you notice an hd2 going chuggy and laggy, but otherwise its still more than good enough as a daily user phone.. If only htc had listened to buyers/users, of hd2, then they possibly wouldn't be bankrupt now, and its not too late for them to bite the bullet and build an updated version, doesn't need an sd845 etc, an old S4 Pro chip provides more than enough grunt, no 5G,too pricey, bigger lcd 4 screen, in "normal" old ratio etc etc, it wouldnt need new top spec kit, just newer than the original had...

It never fails to make me laugh at how many people pour hate on Windows Mobile. I'm willing to trade a testicle that at least 99% of the clueless haters have never actually used WinMo.

Lumia 950 still my favourite (business) phone - straight-forward and ahead of its time when they arrived. I'll keep it going for as long as the fading-battery & MS support allows. Painful to think about what will have to replace it in a year's time! Key2 version 2 ??

Microsoft could use Azure OS to make an awesome phone device out of this (supporting live tile apps from Windows Store and Goggle Store) with tiles side-by-side.

They have had more failures than successes out of most of their teams and marketing is not their strength (often confusing and inconsistent). Being afraid or unwilling to offer lower priced devices for a larger market share, instead top-tier devices are offered at +20% $ range and having a volume of a niche player ... something a company Microsoft's size cannot justify for the long-term ... and leading a market with innovation is another issue with management, as they love to follow ... slowly behind the market leaders / drivers.

With most of the services I need available through sites, I don't have a great need to switch my primary (windows phone) with my secondary (android phone).
