I got my hands on a pair today. Contrary to official specs, they only support 16-bit 48 kHz and not 24/96. The driver is named GVAudio. Build quality is fine. I like the remote a lot. The sound quality is decent. It's dark and mid-heavy and the bass is pretty light. Not bad for $20 earphones.

Kriegsherr, 05 Dec 2018I tried jabra elite 65T and they suck big time compared to ... moreMan when you try to compare something compare equal products comparing earbuds and a large earphones makes no sense.
Its like to compare notebook with a desktop PC.
Your Sennheiser HD598 shall be good but those are large earphones.
Its only logical earbuds cant compete but in present era people dont use brain just say what they have on tongue.
Not everybody want to take out such giant earphones when hang out or so.
In other words your coment were stupid.

Anonymous, 05 Dec 2018I am not reminiscing. Many users would agree with me. The t... moreIs $35 already too much for AptX certified earphones (Aukey EP-B40)? Because to get better-sounding 3.5mm audio devices, I have to spend at least $90 (Audio-Technica M30x).
I do agree with many of your points such as the quality difference, but people tend to gloss over the fact that you have to spend an equally pretty penny for good-quality 3.5mm audio devices and phones that can maximise them (right now, you're limited to the LG G7 and V40). Pay little for 3.5mm ear/headphones, and you get tin cans most of the time.
Whereas every single new mid-to-top-tier phone out there supports AptX and earphones which support it are getting cheaper...

Kriegsherr, 05 Dec 2018I tried jabra elite 65T and they suck big time compared to ... moreYou conveniently left out the fact that can buy two Jabra Elite 65Ts ($170 x 2 = 340, Jabra website) and a 128GB MicroSD card (a Samsung one costs $20 on Amazon) for the price of one Sennheiser HD598 ($377 on Amazon).

AnonD-731363, 04 Dec 2018Man Jabra Elite 65T are best earbuds wireless earbuds human... moreI tried jabra elite 65T and they suck big time compared to my Sennheiser HD598. they might be on par with my apple wired earpods that i got bundled with my phone. So if you wanna get a worse product while spending more money its your choice. According to the your statement, the focus of the market is on better camera or display. True but that doesn't prove that we are losing a versatile legacy port that is a source of greater audio than Bluetooth. Just because apple wanted a new market for their air pods doesn't mean it's better. And Android manufacturers are pretty much stupid followers who removed the jack without any benefit.

Domestoboto, 04 Dec 2018How does this compare with AptX-compatible BLUETOOTH headph... moreI am not reminiscing. Many users would agree with me. The trusty, versatile, battery-less 3.5mm jack has been with us for more than a century. Not so easy to give up and go for other alternatives which may have bad audio quality. Yes, Apt-X Bluetooth support is here, but right now it's TOO EXPENSIVE than DECENT 3.5mm connector headphones at the expense of WORRYING about battery life on Apt-X Bluetooth headphones. For many of us users, we would kind of expect the 3.5mm jack to be there on devices that play audio through onboard speakers as STANDARD. One can choose not to use the 3.5mm jack on the device if one want to use Bluetooth / Wireless / Type-C. What I and the many of us Android users advocate is more CHOICES for us users. Sure the majority of the market cares more about cameras, two-tone finishes, and better battery life, BUT at the expense of REMOVING CHOICES away from us users? Then it's a NO.

No wonder you are into Bluetooth technology just because you are a mere salesman for a headphone company. Or you are so dumb that you won't even understand what is better.

SquadBoi, 04 Dec 2018What? That's the stupidest thing I have read yet! Don't lik... moreMan analog via jack or dongle via charging slot or bluetooth i dont use any buds.
When i want to hear music i do it at home via ASUS notebook nice and loud.
This is not my cup of tea.
Jack survived only because those stupid manufacturers are afraid of removing it.
Like apple did.
Jack should be long time gone for good.
And for wireless earbuds i recommend only one Jabra Elite 65t.
They deliver outstanding sound experience long lasting battery life rgreat build and are above awesome.

AnonD-731363, 04 Dec 2018Who said i use any???
Never used any buds in my life.
An... moreWhat? That's the stupidest thing I have read yet! Don't like jack, then don't use it. You can still use your expensive and still inferior BT headphones, jack or no jack. 48 hours? Good luck with that awkward huge battery. I'll take my as long as I want, no charge headphones.
There's a reason the 3.5mm jack has survived all this long. It's reliable, versatile and is widely used. Unlike the floppy disk or CD drives, it doesn't have a reliable alternative yet.
You calling it analog doesn't mean anything. Apple just wants to earn money through licensing it's Lightning port and the industry wants it digital so it can put DRM control over your music. Nice job consumer, you played yourself!
