Why didn't Apple get mentioned in the article as an example? huh? They're been using false advertising for at least 5 years...Or you're bias toward Apple like always?

It's just interesting that her picture using a DSLR was used by Samsung as a picture promoting their smartphone camera etc. Think before you criticize. That's all you needed to do.

Manufacturers using DSLR's to take promotional photos has to do with the quality of the photo on large prints and screens. taking a photo with an Smartphone camera is never going to produce the quality or have the high pixel count companies need to do large prints or High Def ads on displays and billboards.
I wouldn't call this cheating or defying the consumer at all.
They can take pictures with the phones and post that on Social Media yes, but for advertising campaigns a DSLR will always be best.

And for such an artsy woman,I doubt she will miss Samsung as a client.More so,she’s even more popular and controversial right now!Which is always a good thing for an artist ; )

It was about time to happen here on gsmarena comment section!
All phone manufacturers resort to this kind of deceptive or straight trough false marketing claims.And this happens for years now,since the first phone cameras arived,since Nokia in its old glory days.No exception whatsoever,they are all guilty.
This is a problem that should be tackled down by lawmakers and regulatory bodies.As well as multitude others issues as planned obsolence for example.We as an individual consumers cant do much against bilion $ worth corporations,we cant even boycot them,as they are all the same(greedy and lying).But if we push for laws and stricter regulations trough our representatives,maybe just maybe we will put their claims on fair ground.

bs, marketing is one of the strategy why Samsung is famous, mind you all this is business bs,
so you really think a girl with a shiny glowing hair in an ads is true? lol even if this is true I will still buy Samsung phones because
based on my experience my SGN9 still better than your Chinese crap device.

There's not a sign of electronic noise, ton of details, nothing blurry, stretched or pixelated. My S9's pictures or my sister's iPhone pictures start showing imperfections on a laptop screen (and that's normal, after all those small sensors can do so much before they hit physics limits).
I just hope someone goes to court against them for false representation, just to stop those deceptive tactics.

Lol, I'm not even surprised, Samsung have a big crisis and they make stupid steps day after day... Really.

I guess its about the background instead of subject(foreground) with Samsung showing off how Live Focus works on their A8 ,Background could be taken with A8 given the amount of noise its most like A8
