The design of their current mid rangers is fine. I rarely hear people complaining about it, and the faults are not related to the design or display whatsoever.
Don't they notice how much people really disguise this sort of aesthetic?? Heck they even made an advertisement teasing Apple for such appearance, now they're doing the same thing, only slightly different but still the same concept.
Hypocrites, I guess??
Besides, what does this design benefit or fix? It allows the notification panel to be moved on the top and leave some free usable screen surface?
Well that's fine because OLEDs could hide the notch very well! ---Oh wait, will it be an OLED panel??

I love the notch on my OnePlus 6T. It's minimal & pleasing. Adds to the overall character of the phone.

I don't understand why people are pissed about this. If you don't like the notch even when it's the least obtrusive, just don't buy it and quit complaining about notches because the entire smartphone industry is adopting them.
