UK's BT telecom is removing some 4G Huawei equipment over security concerns

China's foreign ministry publically endorsed Huawei, this supposedly private company.
This is some really lowbrow, immoral practice especially coupled with the suppression of dissent. We all know the China Communist Party has an iron grip over the country but they usually still pretend they're at least some sort of democracy, therefore branches of the government are not supposed to publically endorse a private entity in order to avoid arousing suspicion. Now that it's already done it's another factor others could hold against them.

Not security concerns, just lap-dog mentality and political pressure. All of the U.S. 4 lap-dogs (Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the U.K.) will eventually do the same, because when America tells them to sit, they sit.
The U.S. is panicking because the world is not buying their backdoored spying equipment (Cisco, Juniper) and so they resort to attacks like these, and the recent warrant for arrest which is literally holding a person hostage in the threat of extradiction.
The world can let America shit and piss on you and decide what you buy and when, or stand up and force them to get back in line.

The only proven spy was the US spying on the EU allies several years ago. The US carriers and phone makers should be banned in Europe.

Galaxy Note 10, 06 Dec 2018Next, allies will be asked to buy only Apple products at $2... moreThis is about network infrastructure. Not mobile phones. Apple sales has nothing to do with it.

QCOM, 06 Dec 2018Why US didn't take down Samsung?Because Samsung is South Korean, and that happens to be a US ally.

QCOM, 06 Dec 2018Why US didn't take down Samsung?Because Samsung is from South Korea. You know, an ally of the US? Like Saudi Arabia, for example. If you're an ally, you can do whatever you want, even if it's something bad.

Well, i never intended to buy a Huawei phone, but after all this, i'm seriously considering it. If the UK and US are against it, then Huawei must be doing something good.
