This allows backwards compatibility for older IE applications such as using Java for purchasing, procurement etc. These versions of Windows offer stability over continuous feature upgrade every 6 months. And those are supported for 10 years unlike Windows 10 SAC.

I've used several browsers. Opera was good but not anymore. It won't work as it should. Firefox is my go to browser now. Used until death of my laptop's hard drive. Will install Firefox again after installing Windows 10. Cool move from Microsoft for Edge. Waiting for it.

Chrome is still my favorite for general browsing but when I want to stream from my computer, Netflix looks much better on Edge. Chrome seems to only support 720p while Edge supports 4K.

6gb ram for a browser is pathetic
IE 11 opens faster and loads webpages faster also eats 1/4 of the ram and cpu
put adblocker or disable hosts and its flying
html5test score shows that chrome support more things mostly those nasty video ads which no one wants
