Another one bites the dust, first was Opera that got Chromified, next was Firefox that got Chromified, now IE getting Chromified..... Seems like there wont be any diversity when it come to web browsing and Google now dictates how the internet will be.....

I'm sorry, but ditching your old spyware browser and making a new spyware browser based on Chromium will not make me switch to that new spyware browser.
I will stay with Firefox, thank you.

NeonHD, 06 Dec 2018So basically Edge is Google Chrome now but with Microsoft's... moreActually,edge is robbed of many features and settings you have in IE,so it belongs in group with chrome and firefox,cluttered with tracking and ads and data collection software that imposes on you as soon as you open them,thus eating 80% of your bandwith,and loading ads long before showing you the actuall content you were looking for.I hate them so much.Once,long ago,the 168kb/s and Mozilla firefox v1 or v2 was blazing fast and flawless on my first PC (protected with kaspersky or some other av software ofcourse).So,you know what's up...

So basically Edge is Google Chrome now but with Microsoft's Edge UI on top of it. Honestly that's great, two decades worth of scorn towards IE and now Edge has finally taught Microsoft a valuable lesson NOT to use Trident as their browser engine.

Edge looks to be the only way to properly get 4K HDR videos from YouTube right now. Hope the new version doesn't break this

IE is actually a great browser. Chrome was great when it was light and new, now it's a pig and nowhere near as fast.
And for Firefox, it's quite fast when it finishes installing updates every time I open it up but by the time the update is installed I've already finished with IE.

IE,once one of the worst browsers on windows platform,is now the best.People have just forgot about it because it's hidden in win10,but if you compare performance with Mozilla and chrome,I see much less glitches,much less resources used,and it's faster

One of the best moves from MS. Edge for Android already works in Chromium and it works great!
