Both of t... moreI think you should suggest Samsung Huawei and Xiaomi to make the battery easy for repair, don't stick it into the phone, this kind of design is the cheapest way and difficult to repair. If you really want a quality product please told them.

LOL. Both of them have much better aftersales services compared to sony. No one can repair your xperia, even sonycenter can't.
Do you know why sony shutdown their mobile business in Turkey? Because there were class action lawsuit against sony because of terrible aftersales service.
Do you know why sonymobile exit from the biggest countries of south east asia? Because of the same problem.
Do you know why american and canadians avoid xperia? Because of the same problem.

XZ3 and XZ series have use a plate for the battery installation and removable, that's makes the repair easier and safely than Samsung Huawei. I thought you know that since you are quite frequently comment on Sony threads.

I prefer quality and price over a brand name.

Samsung is ... moreSamsung and Huawei stick the battery in the battery room so it have to apply the heat directly to the battery room area and apply some force to pull out the battery from the battery room, this is a terrible designs difficult to repair too. How can you give it high score, are you blind fans?

Samsung is not that bad.
Even huawei is not that bad.
Huawei is like around 4-6 some phones even less and samsung is around 6-8 depends on device. J series are up to 4-5 on a scale. Curved screen is most difficult because its fragile and hard to put back.

exactly what I thought, they are correcting the "mistakes" of the xz2c (that I own).
I love the old style design, and much better some bezels than those awful notches or holes for in-display camera! lol (yeah this is the future and progress for all phone makers, so I much prefer the old!!)
if this is confirmed, even if little taller than xz2c (but still lot smaller than many others) it is also again flat in the back luckily, and also thinner, plus jack back and fingerprint on the side.. simply wonderful...
if camera will be even more improved and battery at least on par with xz2c, will surely upgrade! can't wait for the release and final info and specs!

Its not only heavy weight whats i dislikes here.
Also a complicated build. Sony phones are hardest to repair on slace from 1 to 10 where 1 is super easy and 10 is almost impossible even for a skilled person like Zac Nelson Sony phones always matches 9 or 10.
And another thing is a very small battery. In that bulky design even 4500 mAh should find its space but no.

I have a Sony Xperia Z since 5 years.
I won't change until it breaks.
What do you think about the Sharp Aquos R2?
It could have been a Sony.
I would be more satisfied.
The fingerprint reader should be on the leftside.
And who needs front camera?

It's the reason I'm loving this XZ4C render. I wish they were all 16:9 though. XZ4 looks dope too, but too long :/ It has to provide so many new goodies for me to see beyond its elongated size, I mean, features like the new 48MP sensor with OIS and f/1.8 aperture, 21:9 4K OLED display (and maybe the phone we now know as XZ4 is the XZ4 Premium?)

16:9 (Widescreen) and 21:9 (Ultra Widescreen) are normal resolutions used in monitors
