that's why i'm returned op6t and got op6: lack of headphone jack , slower fingerprint inscreen scanner, no handy new tech in compare to op6.

A smaller phone can definitely have very good battery life. Sony's Compact lineup has been proving this recently, albeit with added thickness. The XZ2C only has a 2870mAh battery yet multiple users have reported getting 6-8 hours of SOT out of it on moderate use. All OnePlus has to do is increase thickness a bit, further optimize OxygenOS and use a 1080P display and they have the recipe for a perfect compact phone.

definitely the reason they are not a company for enthusiasts or community like they keep branding everywhere. lately they are just another generic phone manufacturer. once a phone manufacturer gets bigger in the US with carriers it becomes lame and costly.

Note9. 6.44" no notch Super AMOLED HDR. 4000mAh Battery. S-Pen that takes 10% of the device. IP68. Headphone jack.
OP 6T. 6.41" notched AMOLED. 3700mAh Battery. No pen. No IP68. No notch.

This CEO is saying trash. There's enough space for a jack.
"Lau did once again address the removal of the headset jack in the OnePlus 6T, saying that "it was a very painful decision", but one that needed to be done - "as the screen gets bigger and bigger, with a bigger battery, it limits the space" inside the phone. "

Corrected: "It was a no-brainer. As profit margins gets bigger and bigger, with a bigger price tag, it limits the value inside the phone."
